写作微技能一　认识读后续写 WELCOME UNIT　读后续写 读后续写是随着我国高考改革由教育部考试中心打造的英语高考新题型，2016年10月在浙江省首次使用。该题型通过读写结合，考查学生的英语书面语言理解与表达能力。要求学生能够梳理故事的文体结构、分析故事的发展线索、想象故事发展的情节以及续写故事的发展和结局。 读后续写考题提供一段350词以内的语言材料，要求考生依据该材料内容和所给段落开头语进行续写(150词左右)，将其发展成一篇与给定材料有逻辑衔接、情节和结构完整的短文。从试题结构看，读后续写检测的是书面理解能力和书面表达能力。因此，在写作之前，首先要读懂文本，理清故事情节，然后构思故事的发展和结局。 典例展示　(2020·新高考全国Ⅰ) 阅读下面材料，根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段，使之构成一篇完整的短文。 The Meredith family lived in a small community.As the economy was in decline，some people in the town had lost their jobs.Many of their families were struggling to make ends meet.People were trying to help each other meet the challenges.
