第03讲 there be 句型

【基础知识】

There be 是英语中常用句型， 意思是“某地有某物”。There be结构是一种弱式强调结构。There在此结构中是引导词，已经没有副词“那里”的含义。There be 后面的名词是句子的主语, be要和后面的主语保持一致，若出现并列主语，要遵循就近原则。

There is a pen and some pencils in the pencil-box.

There are some pencils and a pen in the pencil-box.

 

1. 结构

1）肯定结构  there be + 名词+ 地点/时间状语

   There is some juice in the bottle.

2）否定结构  there be 句型的否定结构在be后加not(any) 或no。

   There are no books on the desk.= There are not any books on the desk.

3）疑问结构  there be 句型的疑问结构将be提前

   Are there any people in the room?

 

2. 时态

1）一般现在时   there is /are

   There are some apples on the apple tree.

2)  一般过去时  there was/were

     There was a sport meeting in the playground yesterday.

3)  一般将来时 there will be  和 there is/are going to be

     There will be ( There is going to be) a show on Wednesday.

4)  现在完成时  there has/have been

     There have been lots of accidents round here.

** there be 结构有不同的时态，而且可以和情态动词连用：

   There must be a mistake somewhere.

 

【考点剖析】

例1．（2022·河北·曲阳县教育和体育局教研室七年级期末）There _______ a table and two chairs in Jenny’s room.

句意：珍妮的房间里有一张桌子和两把椅子。

考查there be句型的就近原则。根据英语语法，there be句型中使用就近原则，即与be动词最靠近的主语，

决定be动词的单复数形式。空格后为“a table”，名词单数形式，故be动词应用is。故选B。

 

例2．（2022·北京昌平·七年级期末）________ two beautiful parks near my home.

句意：——桌子上有苹果吗？——没有，但是有一些橙子。

考查There be句型。根据答句“But there are some oranges”可知没有苹果但是有橙子，因此要作否定回答。Are there…? 的否定回答是：No, there aren’t。故选D。

 

例4．（2021·江西·大余县教学研究室七年级期末）There ________ milk and apples on the table. You can eat some.

A．has B．are C．is D．have

句意：桌子上有牛奶和苹果，你可以吃一些。

考查There be句型。根据“There”可知某地有某物使用“there be”句型，所以排除A和D。There be句型遵循就近原则，milk是不可数名词，be动词用is。故选C。
