M8U2 I made a kite
一、教材分析
本单元为外研版三年级起点五年级下Module 8 Unit 2. I made a kite.本单元为复习模块,主要是巩固与拓展所学知识。在上节课学会讨论制作什么物品的基础上,进一步学会用一般过去时介绍如何制作物品。
二、学生情况
此时的五年级学生学习英语已近三年,针对过去时的应用已经有了一定的基础。因此在设计上采用任务型教学,从听说入手,创设情境,引领学生使用一般过去时介绍物品的制作过程的同时,进一步巩固复习第一单元所学内容:使用一般将来时询问与回答计划做的事情。
三、教学目标
1.知识与技能目标:
1)能正确认读单词、理解单词:drew、cut、piece、paint、put、stick、tied、string。能认读、理解、运用句型:I made a kite。
2)全体学生能听懂、会说:I made a kite.
3)全体学生能运用:drew、put
2.过程与方法:通过预设内容引导学生自主预习,小组合作,做 中学,以及建构多元化的评价体系,使不同层次的学生学会描述 如何制作物品。
3.情感态度与价值观:注意到中外文化的差异性,感受中国文化的博大精深,激励学生为中国未来的更加强大而努力学习,并从现在开始养成锻炼身体的好习惯。
四、教学重点与难点
1.重点:
1)正确认读单词:drew、cut、piece、put、stick、tied、string
2)正确掌握句型:I made a kite.
3)正确表述如何制作物品。
2.难点:使用一般过去时描述物品制作的过程。
五、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up
1.Greeting.
2.Free talk.
T:Will you.......?Yes,I will./No,I won’t.
T:Did you ....?Yes, I did./No,I diin’t.
师出示at this weekend和last week这两个时间点,在对话中帮助学生区别一般将来时和一般过去时。
Step 2: Lead-in
1.Watch cartoons and learn new words.
T: How did you make the kite, Lili? Teach them new words: drew-draw, cut-cut.
2.Listen and answer.
Q1: What did she do?
Q2:Who did she make it for?
3.Watch and chant
Play it for the third time, and let them say it together.

Step 3: Text learning
1.Watch and choose
T: What did Daming do?What did Daming use?Leading in the title, and explain it.
2. Listen and order
3.Play it for the third time, and answer: How did you make the kite? Let them notice “did”.
4.Show six pictures of making the kite, let them notice there are six steps.
T: How did you make the kite? Let them discuss in groups, then answer.
S1: I drew a dragon on a piece of yellow paper. Teach them new word: piece and pieces. Review “drew-draw”.
S2: I painted it. Teach them new word: paint-painted.
S3: I cut the paper. Review the word: cut-cut
S4: I put sticks on it. Teach them new words: put-put, stick-sticks. Let them notice “ut”, there are two kinds of pronunciation. Teach them how to apply “put```on” and “put```in”.
