On 7 May 1824, a crowd of② music lovers streamed③ into a theatre in Vienna to hear the firstever④ performance of the great Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No.9.⑤ The crowd immediately recognized that they were listening to something truly special, and they broke into enthusiastic⑥ cheers at the end of⑦ the symphony.
