[考点点拨]join 基本意思是“参加，加入”。 join sb. 加入某人 join the army 参军 Join、join in 、take part in 的区别 join 表示参加某一团体并成为其中一员,如果后接人,则表示参加某人的活动。 Join in 指参加到某些人当中去做某事,这项活动往往正在进行着。 take part in指参加会议或者群众性的活动等,重在说明句子的主语参加该活动并在活动中发挥作用。 核心句型 1.I don't think it'll be a holiday for me. 我想这对我来说不会是个假期了。 [考点点拨]本句原为“I think it won't be a holiday for me.”这是一个“否定前移”的句子，主句中的否定词实际上否定的是后面从句的内容。在英语中，当主句是I think，I believe等时，其后的宾语如果是否定式，则要把否定前移至主句，表达成“I don't think/believe+肯定句”的句式。这是因为英美人士在表达个人观点时比较委婉。如： I don't think he is an honest boy. 我认为他不是个诚实的孩子。 I don't believe that will happen我相信那不会发生。 2.
