【知识精讲】相似、相近词比较 初二 英语 little a little few a few 的 辨析 little 很少，几乎没有 否定意义 修饰不可数名词 a little 一点，少许 肯定意义 few 不多的，少数 否定意义 修饰可数名词复数 a few 几个，少数 肯定意义 both (两者都)，either(两者中任何一个)，neither (两者都不)。 以上词的使用范围均为两个人或物。　 Eg: Neither of the two boys is clever. 两个男孩都不聪明。 both与复数连用，either与单数连用。 Eg: Both the boys are clever. 两个男孩都很聪明。 Either of the two boys is clever. 两个男孩都很聪明。 both , either , neither的辨析 all (三者或三者以上都)，none (三者或三者以上都不)。 这些词使用范围为三者以上。 Eg: All the flowers are gone. 所有的花都谢了。 all与none跟单数名词，用单数动词；跟复数名词，用复数动词。 Eg: All of the students are there. 所有的学生都在那。 All (of) the milk is there. 所有的牛奶都在那。 all , none的辨析 （1）a number of为量词短语，表示“许多……”，中心词是这个短语所修饰的复数名词，所以作主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。 a number of +名词复数=a lot of+名词复数=lots of+名词复数 Eg: A number of students of our school have read the book. （2）the number of表示“……的数量”，中心词为number，指的是of后边名词的数量，数量是个抽象概念，因此谓语动词用单数。the number of+名词复数/不可数名词。但谓语动词用第三人称单数。 Eg: The number of wild animals has become less and less recently. a number
