Step 2完成教材1a-1e的任务
1.要求学生翻开课本P109,阅读1a部分的内容。写出你将来打算做什么。
2.根据1b部分所给的对话提示与你的同伴进行讨论你将来打算做什么。
参考案例
A:What do you hope to do in the future?
B:I hope to get a business degree and become a manager.
3.听第一遍录音,根据听到的内容把课本上1c所给的图片以及听到的希望勾选出来。
4.听第二遍录音,根据所听内容完成1d所给的短文。然后请一位学生朗读短文,并核对答案。
5.听第三遍录音,并打开听力材料,全班逐句进行跟读。
6.参照1e提供的问题,准备一个毕业演讲。然后先在小组演讲,最后评出优秀的在全班演讲。

1.manager
manager为名词,意为“经理;管理者”。
Jane’s father is the manager of the shoe factory.
简的爸爸是那家鞋厂的经理。
【拓展】manage v.管理;经营;完成;设法对付。可用作manage to do sth.意为“设法做某事”。
The young man managed the company instead of his father.
那个年轻人代替他爸爸管理那家公司。

2.hope的用法:
hope为动词,意为“希望”。常见用法如下:
(1)hope to do sth.希望做某事。
I hope to go to university after I graduate.
毕业后我想上大学。
(2)hope for sth.希望得到某物。
The boy hopes for some gifts on his birthday.
那个小男孩过生日时很想得到一些礼物。
(3)hope + that从句
I hope that I can raise some money for the peop
