人教2019版高中英语（选择性必修一、二、三、四册） 精准定位课文语法点 本单元按照教学要求须掌握的语法点是“动词-ing 形式作主语、宾语、表语、定语、宾语补足 语、状语成分”。 一、v.-ing形式做主语 ① v.-ing形式做主语时通常有两种位置：一种是位于句首；另一种是用 it做形式主语，而将v.-ing形式 移至后面。单个的v.-ing形式做主语，谓语动词用单数形式。如： Saying is one thing, and doing is another. 说是一回事，而做是另一回事。 It’s no use / good complaining. 抱怨是没用的。 It’s a waste of time doing such a thing. 做这种事是浪费时间。 ② 常用v.-ing形式做主语的句型有： It’s no good / no use doing... 做……是没用的。 It’s a waste of time doing... 做……是浪费时间的。 It’s worthwhile doing... 做……是值得的。 There is / was no sense in doing... 做……没道理。 There is / was no good / use doing...做……无用。 There is / was nothing worse than doing...没有比做……更糟的。 There is / was no point (in) doing...做……无意义。 It’s no use crying over spilt milk. 覆水难收。 There is no point (in) doing so. 那样做毫无意义。 There is no sense in going ahead. 继续下去已毫无意义。 但要注意：There is no need to do sth.“做某事没有必要”。在此句式中，to do不能换为doing。如： There is no need to tell her. 没必要告诉她。 ③ v.-ing形式和 to do不定式做主语时的区别 v.-ing形式和 to do不定式都可以做主语。v.-ing形式做主语表示一般的或抽象的多次性行为，to do不 定式做主语往往表示具体的或一次性的动作。如： Playing with fire is dangerous. 玩火危险。（泛指） Be careful! To play with fire will be dangerous. 小心点！玩火会带来危险。（指一次具体动作） Singing is my hobby, and to sing at my friend’s birthday party is my dream. 唱歌是我的爱好，在朋友的生日宴会上唱歌是我的梦想。 【考题观察】 1. It’s quite hot today.
