一、教学目标:

2. 让学生了解Jane的假期经历,培养阅读技能。
3. 让学生通过对文章的学习,了解马来西亚槟城山和海墘街,增进对其他国家的了解。

Penang is a Malaysian (马来西亚的) state
located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, by the Malacca Strait(马六甲海峡). It has two parts: Penang Island, where the capital city, George Town is located on the Malay Peninsula(马来半岛).
Penang Hill covers a number of hills, with the highest point at Western Hill which is 833 m (2,733 ft) above sea level. Penang Hill is also known by the Malay name Bukit Bendera (升旗山), which actually refers to Flagstaff Hill, the most developed peak.
