英语时态之一般过去时 1、 什么是时态 时态就是表示一个动作发生的时间和所处的状态。“时”就是这个动作发生的“时间”；“态”就是这个动作在某个时刻的“状态”。 2、 时间的定义 英语中把时间分为三类，即：过去 现在 将来 3、 状态的定义 状态指的是在某个时刻这个动作所处于的状态。动词共有四类状态，分别为：一般式、进行式、完成式和进行完成式。 1.一般式表示经常发生的动作，其动词形式为do 例：I often get up at 7. 我经常在七点钟起床。 2.进行式表示正在进行的动作，其动词形式为“be动词 + doing” 例：She is singing a French song. 她正在唱一首法语歌。 3.完成式表示对“之前发生动作”的一个总结，其动词形式为“have + done” 例：They have found the missing child. 他们找到那个失踪的孩子了。 4.完成进行式表示对“正在进行动作”的一个总结，其动词形式为“have + been + doing” 例：I have been reading books for two hours. 我已经连续读书两个小时了。 四．一般过去时（did）: 一般过去时常表示在过去某一个特定的时间所发生的动作或存在的状态，谓语用动词的一般过去形式（did)，此时常和表示过去的特定时间状语连用。如：yesterday ,last night ,the night before last, last year等。 例：I saw him in the library yesterday morning. 我昨天早止在图书馆看到他了。 I began to learn English ten years ago. 我十年前开始学英语。 He was late for school this morning. 他今天早上上学迟到了。 I used the pen before. 我之前用过这支笔。 I swam yesterday afternoon. I didn't do my homework. 我昨天下午游泳了，我没有做我的家庭作业。 1.一般过去时还可以表示过去的一段时间内延续或重复的动作。 例：I slept for eight hours last night.我昨天晚上睡了八个小时。 I lived in the country for ten years.我在农村生活了十年。 I wrote a letter once a week to my family when i was in my first college year. 在大一的时候，我通常每个星期给家里写一封信。 注意：一般过去时的特殊用法： 一般过去时与“for+时间段”连用，表示动作在过去已经结束，并没有延续到现在。 例：She lived in our town for three years.她在我们小镇生活过3年。 I do not know和i did not know的区别。 I do not know 表示不知道，用一般现在时表示一直不知道。 I did not know 表示不知道，用一般过去时表示不知道的状态发生在过去，现在知道了。 练习题： 1. —Has Lucy gone back to her home in the US? —Yes.
