学生活动:(1)学生在老师的引导下复习本节课的单词,并完成活动1中的练习。通过英文释义和句子重构加深对所学词汇的理解。学生根据英文释义从Reading and Thinking板块的语篇中找出对应的词汇进行替换。教师重点解释第五句。其中charge是熟词生义,presume是非课标词。该句包含主语从句、省略句和状语从句。
(2)学生利用活动1中的词汇回答问题,既回顾了小说情节,又在语境中运用了词汇。
