Neither the twins nor Li Lei has been to Shanghai. 并列连词（3） 1 2 3 4 but 意为“但是”，用来表示转折关系，注意它不能与though, although连用。 I want to buy a bag, but I have no money. so 意为“因此；所以”用来表示因果关系，注意不能与because, since, as连用。 It was late, so we decided to go home by bus. 就近原则 not only…but also, either…or…,neither…nor…连接两个主语时，谓语动词与最近的主语保持一致 Neither you nor I am right. 非就近原则 both…and…连接两个主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。 并列连词（4） 5 6 祈使句+and+简单句 相当于“If +肯定句，+……” Work hard and you’ll succeed.=If you work hard, you’ll succeed. 祈使句+or+简单句 相当于“If+否定句……”。 Hurry up, or you’ll be late for class.= If you don’t hurry up, you’ll be late for class. 示例讲解（1） 例题 (2020 北京) Wash your hands before meals, ______ you may get ill. A. and B. but C. or D. so     讲解 【答案】C 【解析】根据前文是祈使句可知，构成固定句式“祈使句+or+陈述句”，or后接不好的结果。 二.从属连词 引导从句（1） 时间状语 目的状语 原因状语 结果状语 when, while, as ,until, till, as soon as, before, after等。 While与as只能和延续性动词连用，若as soon as 引导的时间状语从句中主句用一般将来时，则从句用一般现在时表示一般将来时。 so, so that, in order that, in case等。 because, as, for, since等。 so…that…, such…that…等。So修饰形容词或副词，such修饰名词，当名词前面有many, much, few,或little修饰时，应用so. 引导从句（2） 让步状语 比较状语 条件状语 地点状语 although, though, however(= no matter how), even if/ though等。 as, than, as…as…,not so/as…as… if, unless, as/so long as等。 where, wherever. 示例讲解（2） 例题 (2020 武威)You will feel cold ______ you don’t wear a coat.
