She made her very first record in the Top Ten, and a big hit album at the age of 13. Now she can’t be with us today, because she is on tour, but I have got notes from my phone conversation with her. The first thing I asked her was: How can someone get started on a career in pop music? Her answer is this: one way to start on a career is to make a tape of your songs. It’s a good idea to make it in a studio if you can, because you get a good quality of sound that way, but if that’s not possible, just make it at home. You then send your tape to a music club and if you are lucky, they ask you to come and sing for them. However, a lot of pop stars get started by singing at a club. You hope that when you are singing, somebody from a music company comes and listens, and likes your songs. And that means you get to make an album fight after that. That’s if you are very lucky, like Tina. And then after the album, you do some Concerts, and then you go on a tour.
