Unit 5 Rhythm Communication Workshop 一、教学目标 At the end of this lesson, the students will be able to: 1. Summarize the layout and the useful sentence structures of the concert review. 2.  Write a concert review according to the layout and the sentence structures. 3.  Evaluate the reviews according to the evaluation standard. 二、重点难点 重点:Write a concert review according to the layout and the sentence structures. 教学难点:How to make the Ss evaluate their or their partners ‘writing. 三、教学过程 Step1 Lead-in T lets the students enjoy a concert about Alanis, and think about the following questions: What do you think of the concert? What should be included in a concert review? The students think about some adjectives to describe the concert or express their feelings think about the contents of a concert review. Step2 Pre-writing Let students sum up the main topics of each paragraph about the concert review. Give the students some information of singers. Let students make some sentences of each paragraph. Step3 Writing The teacher gives the Ss 15 minutes to finish their writing. The teacher shows the evaluation to the students. Step4 Post-writing The teacher shows an example of evaluating one student’s writing according to the evaluation form. Let students evaluate their partners’ writing according to the evaluation form.
