Unit 7 What time do you get up?
【第一课时】
【教学目标】
(一)语言目标
1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词timetable, question;能听、说、读、写单词或词组a.m., p.m., get up, go to bed, maths, music, PE, art.
2.句型:能用“What time do you ...?”/ “I … at ...”进行对话.
(二)应用目标
1.能听懂、会说A部分的对话.
2.通过调查活动,询问他人的作息情况,并对此询问做出回应.
【教学重难点】
1.重点:理解并正确运用A部分的对话.
2.难点:理解句子“This timetable is about your day.”的含义.
【教学准备】
一面挂钟、单词图片、单词卡片、课文录音、课本图片、多媒体课件等.
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习 (Warm-up/ Revision)
1.Greetings
2.Sing a song: Tick Tock Time
3.Revision
教师出示挂钟,拨动指针,复习时间.
T:(拨动指针到整点)What time is it?
Ss: It's one/ two/ three/... o'clock.
T: (拨动指针到非整点)What's the time?
Ss: It's 6:40/ 9:25/ 11:45/…
II. 新课呈现 (Presentation)
1.教师利用图片教授a.m.和p.m.
T: It's eight o'clock in the morning. It's 8:00 a.m.
It's eight o'clock in the evening. It's 8:00 p.m.
教师板书:
am = a.m. = AM上午
pm = p.m. = PM下午
2.教师利用图片和动作教授新词组get up和go to bed.
T:(做起床的动作)Get up , get up , I get up at 6:00.(做睡觉的动作)
Go to bed , go to bed , I go to bed at 9:30.
教师带读句子.(操练可以采用个人、全班、小组、男女生、分组、分行、大小声等多种形式.)
