Unit 5 When’s your birthday? 第一课时 一、教学目标 （一）语言目标 1、词汇：能听懂、会说、认读新单词January Jan. February Feb. March Mar. April Apr. May (注：五月没有缩写） June June. July July. August Aug. September Sept. October Oct. November Nov. December Dec.及月份的缩写形式和词组International Children’s Day；能听、说、读、写单词may, month, year, birthday。 2、句型：能用“When’s your birthday?”及回答“My birthday is in?”“It’s on the?of?”进行对话。 （二）应用目标 1、能听懂、会说A部分的对话。 2、能指认一月至八月的单词。 3、能正确表达一月至八月中的具体日期。 4、能借助图片和提示，简单了解中外重要的节日及英语表达方式。 二、教学重、难点 1、重点：能听懂、会说一月至八月的单词。能用“When’s your birthday?”及回答“My birthday is in?”“It’s on the?of?”进行交流。 2、难点：新单词January， February的读音有一定的难度；新单词一月至八月的正确排列顺序。 1、教师呈现不同节日的图片，学生两人一组，看图连线。 It’ s on the 1st of January.
