1.能用“What's the date today?”询问日期,并能用“It's ….”说出10—12月的具体日期。
2.能用英语说出10—12月的具体日期。
3.能听懂、说出并认读单词thirteenth、seventeenth、eighteenth、date、today、football。

三、教具准备
教学挂图、教学光盘、单词图卡、日历等。
四、教学步骤
(一) Listen and say
1.导入
(1) 唱歌曲Days of the Months。[来源:学科网ZXXK]
(2) 师生交流。
教师指着年历问:“How many months are there in a year?”学生应能答出:“Twelve.”教师说:“Yes, there are twelve months in a year.”
教师提问:“How many days are there in September / October / November / December?”
(答案:September—30 days, October—31 days, November—30 days, December—31 days)
教师提问:“When is Teachers' Day? When is National Day? When is Christmas Day?”
教师指着当月的月历问学生:“What's the date today?”(大部分学生可能会说出月份并用基数词说出具体日期,教师不用纠错,用正确的表达说出当天的日期即可)[来源:Z*xx*k.Com]
2.学习对话
(1) 观察对话情景、预测人物语言。
教师呈现对话主题图并提问:“Where are they?”学生观察图片应该能够回答出:“At school.”
教师请学生预测Lingling和Yangyang可能说的话。
(2) 观看动画,理解对话。
观看对话动画两遍,观看之前告诉学生
