【教学目标】
1.知识目标
(1)重点词汇和短语:individual, innate, gene, debate, versus, nurture, male, background, portion, convince, lag, female, argue, primarily, survey, sample, outperform, questionnaire, dozen, additional, determine, source, gender, genetic, critic, insist.
(2)能理解、应用句型:
a.If you are being raised by both parents.
b.Swimming is an enjoyable activity.
c.His favorite pastime is sleeping.
2.语言技能目标
(1)理解并掌握新词的及应用。
(2)理解材料内容:通过上下文克服生词困难,掌握听力技巧,提高英语听力能力。
