The photo reminds me of my English teacher. 3、a little bit 修饰形容词或副词 =a little =a bit eg: It’s a little bit hot today.=It’s a little/bit hot today. 4、辨析 a little 可直接修饰不可数名词 否定句 not a little =very “非常” a bit 后需跟of 才能修饰不可数名词 否定句 not a bit =not...at all “一点儿也不” eg. There is a little water in the cup.=There is a bit of water in the cup. 5、turn turn...into 使……变成；把……译成 turn是及物动词 eg: We can turn liquid into gas. turn into 变成 turn是不及物动词 eg: He has turned into a nice boy finally. 相关短语 turn on/off the light 开关灯 turn up/ down the video 调大/调小收音机 6、to fight bad people 为了同坏人作战 动词不定式短语作目的状语 通常用逗号隔开 eg: To improve their service, the workers are active in learning English. =in order to/so as to fight bad people 7、stick n.棍;条 eg: He used a stick to beat the dog. v. 刺；插入；粘贴 过去式、过去分词均为stuck eg：He stuck a nail in the wall. 辨析 stick 用胶水粘贴，引申为“坚持” stick to sth. 坚持某事 stick with sb. 继续支持某人 glue 仅指用胶水把东西粘合 8、excite v.使激动；使兴奋 eg: Opening their presents excites the children. 辨析 excited adj. 兴奋的；激动的 Exciting adj. 使人兴奋的；令人激动的 excitement n. 令人激动的事；兴奋；激动 excitedly adv. 兴奋地；激动地 9、引导状语从句的连词 unless “除非” =if...not “主将从现”原则 eg: I won't pass the exam unless I study hard. as soon as “一……就……” “主将从现”原则 eg: I will tell you as soon as he comes back. so...that/such...that “如此……以至于……” 句式 so + 形容词/副词 + that such + the/an + 形容词 + 可数名词单数 + that such + 形容词 + 可数名词复数/不可数名词 + that so + 形容词+ a/an + 可数名词单数 + that eg: She is such a lovely girl that we love her very much.
