Jane Goodall had the desire to work with animals in its own environment when she was a child. But this was not easy. In fact, even when she grew up and first arrived in Gombe in 1960, it was still usual for a woman to live in the forest. Only after her mother came to her assistance she begin her project. Spend years observing and recording their daily activities, Jane discovered that chimps hunt and eat meat, which is against that people used to think. And her study of chimps’ body language was of great help for her working out their social system.
For years, Jane Goodall has argued that wild animals must be left in the wild and not used for entertainment or advertisements. She has achieved everything she wanted to do, but what is more importantly, she has got to make the world to understand and respect the lives of wild animals. She inspires those who wants to cheer the achievements of women.
