Workshop Highlights

In this workshop, you will learn approaches for assessing student learning and providing feedback that helps students pay more attention to their own progress rather than final scores. We will introduce tools to simplify and standardize assessment and feedback, helping students better understand what matters in the subject. Breakout groups will let you discuss written assignments or problem sets. By the end of this session, participants are expected to be able to:

• Understand the standards for judging students’ work.

• Practise grading papers with clear standards.

• Give weekly assignment and organize tests.

• Provide effective feedback and assessment for students.
