There is some beef on it.  比萨上有一些牛肉。

▸ There be句型表示“某处有某物”。There is 后接单数名词或不可数名词；There are 后接复数名词。

解析：There be句型用来说明“某处有某物”。名词是单数或不可数名词时用 There is；名词是复数时用 There are。

一、There is + 单数名词/不可数名词

名词是单数可数名词（a sandwich、a banana cake）或不可数名词（beef、cheese、bread）时，用 There is。

二、There are + 复数名词

名词是复数（vegetables、two eggs）时，用 There are。

▸ want to 后接动词原形，表示“想要做某事”；询问对方“你呢？”用 How about you?
