Do you want to play a fun game at home? You can make your own escape room (密室逃脱). It’s cool! You and your friends work together to “get out” of a room before time’s up. It’s easy, and here’s how to do that.
First, pick an interesting theme (主题). It can be about a sports game, or a time travel with a nice gift in the end. A theme makes the game really exciting. And you know what things to get before the game. For example, you can use things about the theme-pictures, posters, or everyday things like hats and lights—to make the room feel real.
Second, writing a short and fun story is also important. You can read it at the start. For example: “You’re great men. But now you’re in a large forest. Finish the tasks (任务) to get out before 8 o’clock!” It must be very fun. Then, make small tasks to help players get out of the room. You can use a riddle (谜语) like: “I have four legs but I don’t walk. You can sit on me to talk.” The answer is a chair. Put a clue in a drawer. That can help players find a key to a box. Inside the box is the next clue! You can even put a gift in the end, like pens or candies. You will be happy to win.
Before you play the game, let your parents try first. They can help make sure everything works. Then, ask your friends to come, set a timer, and let the fun begin!
Does this sound fun? Give it a try and enjoy the game with your family and friends.

“Are you an ‘i-person’ or an ‘e-person’?” Many young people online talk about this question these days. It’s part of a popular personality (性格) test called MBTI.
The MBTI test puts people into 16 personality types, like INFP, INTP, ESTP and ESFJ. The first letter is “I” or “E”. People are either “I” (they are usually quiet) or “E” (they are usually outgoing). But sometimes an “i-person” looks outgoing. For example, an “i-person” may talk a lot with friends who are quieter than him or her.
Many young people think it’s interesting to use MBTI results (结果) to talk about someone’s personality. I usually believe the results, but one day, I was surprised to see my sister Lucy make a study plan for the summer holiday. According to the test, she is a “p-person”. “P-persons” usually don’t like to make plans. “I thought (认为) you were a ‘p-person’,” I said. “Why do I need to listen to what the personality test tells me? It’s just for fun,” she answered. Yes, she was right. The test was just for fun. Why should I take the result seriously?
Maybe the MBTI personality test tells you something about a person. And it can also be a thing to talk about when you meet new friends. However, the four letters don’t tell you everything about a person. Don’t let MBTI results tell you who you are.
6.How many kinds of personalities are there in the MBTI test?
A.2 B.4 C.8 D.16
7.According to the MBTI test, an “e-person” is usually _________, than an “i-person”.
A.smarter B.quieter C.more outgoing D.more popular
8.What does the underline word “take…seriously” probably mean?
A.嘲笑 B.认真对待 C.忽略 D.否认
9.What can we know about the MBTI personality test?
A.It is no use to make an MBTI personality test.
B.It is the best way to get to know someone.
C.It can tell you everything about a person.
D.It is something you can talk about when making friends.
10.Where can we read this text?
A.In a dictionary. B.On a map. C.On a post. D.In a Chinese book.
