Passage1(课内同源:一张自评表与三栏错题)
At the last English lesson of the unit, Ms Fang handed out a self-check chart with three questions: Can I use the tenses? Can I use the modal verbs? Can I talk about life choices in English? The students read their answers quietly, and the classroom suddenly became honest. / Wang Nan gave himself three stars for vocabulary but only one star for tenses. In the test last week, he had written a wrong sentence, mixing up the simple past and the present perfect. Following Ms Fang's advice, he opened a fresh page in his notebook and ruled three columns. The first column was for tenses, the second for modal verbs, and the third for topic words about choices. He copied each wrong sentence under the right column, wrote the correct sentence beside it, and added one example of his own. / Around him, the others were doing the same in their own
