根据表中Taihu Sunrise Cycle一栏“¥28 if you buy before November 8; ¥60 after that day (11月8日前28元,之后60元)”可知,早票比全价少32元。
根据表中Haohe Morning Hour一栏“a walk plus sit-down breakfast…Tea comes with the breakfast ticket (走完再坐下来吃早饭……茶随早餐票)”可知,要热茶和早饭应去南通这场,其余三场均未提供早餐。故选D。

20.推理判断题。根据表中Slender West Lake Stretch一栏“beginner support…A teacher stays with first-time riders (初学者支持……老师陪着第一次骑的人)”可知,最可能选扬州的是需要有人带着的初骑者,而不是只想拿免费地图或要长距离湖骑的人。故选B。
B
Chen Yu is quiet and careful with numbers, while Zhou Min is outgoing and thinks first about what people see. One Saturday they were asked to make a poster for an English song hour. The poster had to hang at the south gate before Sunday morning, so that students could decide in a few seconds whether to join.
At first they could not agree on what a useful poster should do. Zhou Min wanted big photos and bright colours, because she believed a poster should stop people in their path. Chen Yu wanted clear times, two prices and a small map. He argued that a poster is not only a surface of colour. People need to know where to meet and what to bring. The room felt tight, and for a while neither of them spoke.
Then they sat down and listed what each person could do well. Chen Yu collected the dates, the two prices and the meeting place, and he added one short line: Bring water. Zhou Min was responsible for the design, but she did not start with decoration. She put the time in the upper left corner in dark numbers, so that a student walking past the gate could find it in five seconds. She drew a small speaker only after the numbers were fixed.
They tested the poster on three students. “Can you find the time in five seconds?” Zhou Min asked. Two of them pointed to the time at once, but one boy missed the price because it sat in a pale line under the drawing. She made the price larger and moved it next to the time. “I can’t agree more,” Chen Yu said. The test had shown that colour without contrast would hide the one fact people came to read.
On Sunday morning the poster hung at the south gate. Students stopped, pointed at the map, and signed their names. By ten o’clock, twenty names were on the list. The two of them still did not work in the same way, but the poster did its job before people walked away.
21.How did they help readers find the time in five seconds?
A.They put dark numbers top left.
B.They asked a gate guard to explain it.
C.They used only bright photos on it.
D.They removed all the prices at once.
22.Who collected the dates and the two prices?
A.Zhou Min.
B.Three students.
C.A south-gate guard.
D.Chen Yu.
23.What did the test on three students show?
A.The map was far too large to use.
B.Nobody could find the time at all.
C.A pale price was easy to miss.
D.Students disliked the speaker drawing a lot.
24.What does the underlined word “tight” in Paragraph 2 mean?
A.Small in size.
B.Tense and uneasy.
C.Full of rain.
D.Bright with colour.
25.What is the best title for the passage?
A.Different Hands, One Poster B.A Quiet Boy Sings Alone
C.How to Draw a Speaker D.Sunday Morning at School
21.A 22.D 23.C 24.B 25.A
根据第三段中“She put the time in the upper left corner in dark numbers, so that a student walking past the gate could find it in five seconds (她把时间用深色数字放在左上角,好让走过门口的学生五秒内找到)”可知,他们靠位置和对比度让读者快速看到时间,不是靠门卫讲解。故选A。
根据第三段中“Chen Yu collected the dates, the two prices and the meeting place (陈宇收齐日期、两档票价和集合地点)”可知,收齐票价和地点的是陈宇,不是试读的三个学生。故选D。
根据第四段中“one boy missed the price because it sat in a pale line under the drawing (有个男生没看到价格,因为它在图画下的浅色一行里)”及“colour without contrast would hide the one fact (没有对比的颜色会把关键事实藏起来)”可知,试读说明浅色价格容易被漏看。故选C。
根据第二段中“The room felt tight, and for a while neither of them spoke (房间里的气氛很紧,好一会儿两人都没说话)”可知,tight在此指争执后的紧张、不自在,不是房间面积小或在下雨。故选B。
故选A。
C
Many students say they have no time for English, yet they give the first hour of the morning to a screen. Fang Hao used to do the same. He stayed in bed, watched short videos, and then rushed out with a bag that was already behind the clock. His day felt late before it had really started. He got little done, because the hour that should have opened the morning had been eaten up at home. He was often late for class, and his English card stayed in his bag, unused.
His cousin told him that a perfect plan was less useful than a real first step. One Monday he put the phone in another room. He got up at half past six and walked twenty minutes around the neighbourhood, reviewing ten words from a small card while he walked. He did not try to learn fifty words in one morning, because a pile of new words that are never used will not stay. After two weeks he still had four classes before noon and homework in the afternoon, but he no longer wasted the opening hour. He went to bed at ten so that the next morning would not collapse again.
The change did not make his school day shorter. What it changed was the order of things. On the bus he kept a habit of reviewing the same ten words. On weekends he used odd time — a few minutes while he waited, or while he put bowls away — to listen to one English song. If he felt tired, he did not add more tasks. He kept the same small steps, because a morning that is used well can carry the rest of the day. A morning that is given to the phone will ask for the same debt again tomorrow.
26.What is the real problem in Paragraph 1?
A.Fang Hao had no English class.
B.The first hour was eaten up.
C.The morning walk was too long.
D.His cousin took his phone.
27.Which of the following is true according to Paragraph 2?
A.He stopped all his homework.
B.He learned fifty words each morning.
C.He still had homework after class.
D.He moved to another city.
28.What shows that the change actually worked?
A.He no longer wasted the opening hour.
B.He bought a new phone at once.
C.He finished fifty words in one night.
D.He gave up the morning walk.
29.What does the underlined word “odd” in Paragraph 3 mean?
A.Strange and wrong.
B.Very long and empty.
C.Lucky every weekend.
D.Small unused bits.
30.What is the best title for the passage?
A.How to Buy a New Phone B.Fifty New Words a Day
C.The First Hour of the Day D.A Perfect Plan for Whole Life
【答案】26.B 27.C 28.A 29.D 30.C
根据第一段中“the hour that should have opened the morning had been eaten up at home (本该打开早晨的那一小时,在家里就被吃掉了)”可知,真正的问题是第一小时被占走,不是他没有英语课。故选B。
根据第二段中“he still had four classes before noon and homework in the afternoon (中午前仍有四节课,下午仍有作业)”可知,C正确。
根据第二段中“he no longer wasted the opening hour (他不再浪费开头的一小时)”及第三段“a morning that is used well can carry the rest of the day (用得好的早晨能托住后面一天)”可知,改变有效的证据是开头一小时不再被浪费,不是又买了新手机。故选A。
根据第三段中“odd time — a few minutes while he waited, or while he put bowls away (odd time——等候或收碗时的几分钟)”可知,odd指零碎、没用上的小段时间,不是“奇怪、错误”。故选D。
D
After an art class, Fang Hao showed his drawing to two people and received two answers that did not feel like the same language. A Chinese classmate said, “No, no. It is far from good.” An English teacher smiled and said, “Thank you. I like the tree line.” Fang Hao stood there, unsure which reply was polite, because he liked both people but could not tell why their words moved in opposite directions.
In many Chinese daily talks, people show care by asking, “Have you eaten?” or “Where are you going?” They are not really asking for a menu or a travel plan; they just want to be friendly, and a short answer like “Yes, I have” is enough. If you answer with a long report of every dish, the other person may feel the talk has become too heavy. In many Western talks, people often say “Hello” or “Nice day, isn’t it?” and then stop after a minute of weather, because the greeting itself has already done the job of being polite.
Names work differently too. Chinese students may call a teacher “Teacher Wang”, and people in a shop may say “Manager Li”, using the family name plus a role. English speakers more often use a given name among friends, and Mr or Ms plus a family name at work. If you use only a given name with a new teacher, it may sound too close, as if you have already been invited into that circle.
None of these ways is wrong; they grow from different habits. When someone praises your work, you can say “Thank you” and still keep learning. You do not have to say “No, no” every time. If you know why people speak this way, you will choose an answer that fits the moment.
31.What did the two answers to the drawing show?
A.One person disliked all kinds of art.
B.The teacher wanted a full food menu.
C.Fang Hao used the wrong drawing paper.
D.Two ways can both be polite.
32.Why do some people ask “Have you eaten?”
A.To show they are friendly.
B.To start a long food report.
C.To get a restaurant name.
D.To check a student’s diet.
33.Which of the following may sound wrong with a new teacher?
A.Using Mr plus a family name.
B.Using only a given name.
C.Using Teacher plus a family name.
D.Saying thank you after praise.
34.What should you do when someone praises your work?
A.Say no, no every single time.
B.Ask for a long travel plan.
C.Say thank you and keep learning.
D.Change your given name at once.
35.What is the best title for the passage?
A.How to Draw a River B.A Sketch Hour in Nanjing
C.English Names at Work D.Different Ways of Daily Talk
【答案】31.D 32.A 33.B 34.C 35.D
根据第二段中“They are not really asking for a menu or a travel plan; they just want to be friendly (他们并不是真要菜单或行程;只是想友好)”可知,问“吃了吗”是为了表示友好。故选A。
根据第三段中“If you use only a given name with a new teacher, it may sound too close (如果对新老师只称名,会显得太近)”可知,不得体的是只称名。故选B。
根据第四段中“you can say ‘Thank you’ and still keep learning (你可以说谢谢,同时继续学)”可知,受夸时应致谢并继续努力,不是每次先否定。故选C。

A.How to Buy a New Phone B.Fifty New Words a Day
C.The First Hour of the Day D.A Perfect Plan for Whole Life
