1. 词汇跟读：跟读并记忆下列单词（注意读音与词义）。

2. 短语速记连线：将左栏英文与右栏中文配对（写序号）。

3. 语言小贴士（考点归纳）。

① 定语从句（关系代词作主语）：He was an old man who fished alone in a skiff. 关系代词 who 指代人，在从句中作主语，不可省略。

② 定语从句（关系代词指物）：... another boat which / that caught three good fish the first week. which / that 指代物，作主语时不可省略。

③ 定语从句（关系副词作状语）：the bank from where the skiff was hauled up. where 指地点，作状语，从句中不缺主语或宾语。

④ 定语从句的省略：The old man had taught the boy to fish and the boy loved him. 中 and 连接的两个分句主语一致时可用代词替代。

⑤ the same ... as ... 意为“和……一样”，as 后接比较对象：They were the same colour as the sea.

⑥ teach sb. to do sth. 意为“教某人做某事”，被动形式为 sb. be taught to do sth.

⑦ 强调句型：It was my father who made me leave. 强调主语 my father，用 It is / was ... who / that ... 结构。

⑧ everything ... except ... 意为“除……之外的一切都……”，except 后接名词或代词：Everything about him was old except his eyes.

⑨ faith 意为“信任；信心”，是不可数名词，常用 have faith in sb. / sth.：“He hasn’t much faith.”

⑩ must 表示“必须”，后接动词原形：I am a boy and I must obey him.

⑪ stay with ... 意为“和……待在一起；（与某人）留在同一处”：You’re with a lucky boat. Stay with them.

⑫ offer sb. sth. = offer sth. to sb. 意为“向某人提供某物”：Can I offer you a beer on the Terrace?
