1. 词汇跟读：跟读并记忆下列单词（注意斜线部分的读音）。

2. 短语速记连线：将左栏英文与右栏中文配对（写序号）。

3. 语言小贴士（考点归纳）。

① spend time (in) doing sth. 花费时间做某事：how long I spent using it（我花了多长时间使用它）。

② it 作形式主语：It’s hard to imagine living without it.（很难想象没有它的生活。）真正的主语是动名词短语 living without it。

③ steal 意为“偷；窃取”（steal—stole—stolen）：It was stealing the time that I should spend on schoolwork（它正偷走我本应花在学业上的时间），此处为过去进行时。

④ make the decision to do sth. 决定做某事，相当于 decide to do sth.；make a decision 作出决定。

⑤ be worried that ... 担心……：I was worried that I might be forgotten by my friends. 从句中用“might be + 过去分词”，是含情态动词的被动语态。

⑥ 一般过去时的被动语态：was / were + 过去分词，如 I was shocked / I was contacted more often / my guitar teacher was impressed。

⑦ keep in touch (with sb.) 与某人保持联系：the main way we keep in touch outside school（我们在校外保持联系的主要方式）。

⑧ make a (special) effort to do sth. 作出（特别的）努力做某事：They made a special effort to call me。

⑨ end up doing sth. 最终（以……）告终：we ended up having more face-to-face conversations。

⑩ add up 加起来；积少成多：Three or four hours a day certainly adds up. up to 多达：that’s up to 28 hours a week。

⑪ be amazed at ... 对……感到惊讶：I was amazed at how much more free time I had。

⑫ be impressed with / by ... 对……印象深刻；impress sb. with sth. 以某物给某人留下深刻印象。

⑬ miss doing sth. / miss sth. 错过（做）某事：I missed a few things ... like a classmate’s birthday party。
