Hello, everyone. Today we’ll talk about six musical instruments from China and Western countries.
First, let’s talk about the piano. The piano has a keyboard of eighty-eight keys. It can create all kinds of beautiful music.
Next comes the violin. The violin is usually played with a bow across its four strings. Players rest it under their chins while performing.
Then we have the guitar. The guitar has six strings. It is widely used in pop music and street performances.
Here is a traditional Chinese instrument, the guzheng. The guzheng usually has twenty-one strings, and its sound is soft and peaceful.
Another ancient Chinese instrument is the pipa. The pipa is pear-shaped and has four strings. We play it by pulling the strings with our fingers.
The last instrument we will learn is the erhu. The erhu only has two strings and is usually played with a bow. It’s well-known as “Chinese violin” all over the world.
