Yes, I did. 或 No, I didn't. there be 句型的过去式用 there was/were。 before 与 now 对比是本单元的核心做题逻辑。看到 before、in the past 等词，句子用一般过去时；看到 now、at present 等词，句子用一般现在时。如 In the past, the roads were dirty and narrow. Now they are clean and wide. be 动词过去式 was/were 与现在式 is/are 既要随主语变化，也要随时态变化，如 There was a library before. 与 There is a library now. 比较级用来比较两个人或事物，标志词是 than。good 和 well 的比较级是 better，属于不规则变化，不能说 more better；单音节形容词一般在词尾加 er，如 clean—cleaner、fast—faster、slow—slower；以辅音字母加 y 结尾的变 y 为 i 再加 er，如 easy—easier、busy—busier、dirty—dirtier。much 可以放在比较级前面加强程度，如 much better、much faster。另外，be different from 是固定搭配，介词用 from，不用 with。 第二部分 拓展提升练习 一、选出每组中不同类的单词 1.
