Imagine someone who could explain one culture to another, write stories that travel across oceans, and even invent a machine to bridge language gaps (隔阂). That person was Lin Yutang—a writer, a translator, and an inventor all in one. His life was filled with curiosity and creativity, bringing East and West closer together.
As a child, Lin often asked questions about life and faith (信仰). His desire to understand the world stayed with him throughout his life.
