Protect the Beautiful Monarch Butterflies
Nowadays, monarch butterflies are in great danger. Their population has dropped sharply in recent years. Human activities bring them serious trouble. People cut down trees and use harmful chemicals. These actions destroy their natural home and kill the plants that monarch caterpillars feed on.
Luckily, people have taken action to save them. Scientists record their migration and work to make sure there are enough plants for them to live on. More and more people are raising public awareness of protecting this lovely creature.
Every small effort matters. We should learn more about monarch butterflies and tell our friends about their difficult situation. Let’s refuse harmful chemicals and plant more milkweed for them. If we all take action, these wonderful butterflies will fly freely in nature for many years to come.
