Passage B
Because of busy lifestyles and work stress, more Chinese people are now turning to AI tools
like DeepSeek to talk about their problems. They share feelings with a chatbot and receive warm
advice.This practice,known as“AI therapy(7愈)”,is becoming popular online.But can
robots really replace human therapists?
Around the world,45 percent of people who needed mental health care in 2024 did not get it
because it was too expensive or there weren't enough doctors.Daniel Lowd,a professor at the
University of Oregon, believes AI could help fill this gap."If people can find some support and

ideas by talking to ChatGPT or a chatbot, then I think that's wonderful."
However,AI has its limits(限制).Human therapists(心理治疗师)understand feelings
deeply through face-to-face talks and create suitable treatment plans-something robots can't fully
copy.Dr.Liu Yang, notes "An AI might recognize keywords like 'divorce'or 'layoff',but it
cannot find out small emotional shifts in tone or body language. This point becomes important when
dealing with a series of situations, where misunderstandings could be dangerous."
Another problem is safety.AI might act like a therapist without proper training or rules. It
cannot match the level of responsibility that human therapists have.Experts believe the key to safe
AI therapy is strict government control. For example,Wysa,an AI mental health app, follows
strict medical standards in the Uk.
Data privacy appears as another large concern.Users usually share personal details on AI
platforms, yet few companies clearly state how this information is stored or used.As AI becomes
part of daily life, finding a balance between its benefits and risks is important. While AI offers
quick help, human connection remains irreplaceable for serious emotional needs.

D.DeepSeek is popular.
(

B.AI robots will soon replace human therapists in hospitals
C.AI can perfectly copy human therapists'skills and methods
D.AI has limits in understanding deep emotions and safety risks.
(
)4.Why does the writer mention Wysa?

B.To prove robots can deal with emergencies.
C.To show AI is cheaper than human doctors.
D.To explain why China needs more therapists.

Passage 3
(2026·广东·二模)Have you ever thought that a hobby like bird-watching could change
your brain?Scientists have found that experienced birdwatchers develop brain differences that help
them recognize birds quickly. This shows that bird-watching can change the functioning of the
brain, just like learning a language or playing an instrument does.
When we learn or practise a new skill, our brain reorganizes itself, making certain pathways
in our brain stronger and smoother. This ability is called neuroplasticity(神经可塑性).Some
scientists have found that musicians have changes in the parts of the brain related to hearing, and
athletes have changes in the parts related to body movement.
To see if bird-watching also changes the brain,a team of scientists at York University in
Canada studied 48 birdwatchers.Half were experts, and half were beginners. Both groups were
shown a picture of a bird for less than 4 seconds, and about 10 seconds later, they had to find the
same bird among four similar-looking birds. The task was repeated 72 times.
As was expected, expert birders did much better. On average, they correctly recognized 83%
of local birds and 61%of non-local birds.Beginners only got 44%correct for both kinds.Brain
scans showed that, when recognizing birds, expert birders had more activity than beginners in brain
areas related to object recognition, attention, and memory. This showed that continuous practice in
bird-watching reshapes the brain.
The researchers said that other hobbies using similar skills, like attention and memory, might
bring similar benefits."If you're not into birds, try learning to play the guitar. It may cause similar
brain changes,"said Erik Wing, the lead scientist of the study.

A.By listing numbers.

D.By telling a personal story.
(

A.By scanning the brains of the birders and musicians.
B.By testing the birders'hearing and body movement.
C.By asking the birders to name 4 birds in 10 seconds.
D.By comparing the birders'ability to recognize birds.

The great person I admire most is Albert Einstein,
one of the greatest scientists in history. His contributions
to physics and his unique personality have left a deep
impression on me.
Einstein was born in 1879 in Germany. He had a
strong passion for science from an early age.Though he
faced difficulties in his early studies,he never gave up.
His most famous achievement is Theory of Relativity, and
it changed the way we understand the universe. He also
had a great sense of humour. What impresses me most is
