5.I want to join the art club, ________ my friend wants me to join the sports club.
A.or B.so C.but D.for
【答案】C
【解析】句意:我想加入艺术俱乐部,但我的朋友想让我加入体育俱乐部。
or或者;so所以;but但是;for因为。根据“I want to join the art club”和“my friend wants me to join the sports club”可知,前后句之间存在转折关系,需用but连接,应填but。
6.Everybody ______ to recognise different animals and learn natural culture every weekend.
A.hope B.hopes C.hoping D.hoped

空格后面是“important tool” (形容词 + 名词),和“the computer is” (主语 + 谓语),应该是“What”开头的感叹句,“tool”为单数,“important”以元音音素开头,所以填“What an”。

where we took我们在哪里拍的;where did we take语序错误;where we will take我们将在哪里拍;where will we take语序错误。宾语从句需用陈述语序,即“引导词 + 主语 + 谓语”,因此排除 B、D 两项疑问语序;根据时间状语“tomorrow”可知,从句应用一般将来时,因此排除A项一般过去时。应填where we will take。

The Language Bridge
When Fatima moved to England last September, everything felt unfamiliar. Though she spoke Arabic (阿拉伯语) quite well, her English was limited to a few basic words. In class, she sat quietly by the window, watching the autumn leaves fall. The teacher’s words seemed to flow past her like a river she couldn’t cross.
Emma, who sat beside Fatima, noticed her confused look whenever she opened her textbook. One lunch break, Emma decided to say hello first. She sat next to Fatima, pointed to her sandwich and then herself, saying slowly, “Lunch. I eat lunch.” Fatima’s eyes lit up. She smiled and repeated, “Lunch.” Then she pointed to her own food and said softly, “Al-ghada.” Emma carefully repeated the Arabic word. Their laughter broke the silence between them.
That small conversation built a bridge. Emma always loved languages, so she began meeting Fatima after school. They used picture cards, simple storybooks, and body language to talk. Emma taught Fatima English words, while Fatima shared Arabic expressions. Within two months, Fatima could introduce herself and ask simple questions. Emma could hold short conversations in Arabic, too.
Their friendship went far beyond language lessons. Fatima invited Emma to her home and taught her to make stuffed grape leaves, a traditional Arabic dish, using her grandmother’s recipe (食谱). In return, Emma helped Fatima understand English classroom rules — when to raise a hand and how to work in groups.
By December, something wonderful happened. Fatima stood before the class and gave a presentation about her home country. She spoke slowly but clearly, her voice growing stronger with each sentence. When she finished, the classroom clapped loudly. Emma stood up and said, “Fatima taught me that true help isn’t doing things for someone. It’s walking beside them.”
Their friendship became known as “The Language Bridge”. Other students joined their after-school meetings. Now, a small group gathers every Friday to practise different languages and share stories from their cultures.
“I thought I came here to help Fatima,” Emma told her mother, “But she helped me see the world differently. I gained a new language and learned what friendship truly means.”
24.How did Fatima feel when she first sat in class in England?
A.Confused. B.Excited. C.Angry. D.Relaxed.

A.They worked on a class project. B.They asked their teacher for help.
C.They joined a school language club. D.They shared languages and cultures.
26.What did Emma learn in the end?
A.Learning new languages matters a lot.
B.Being supported by parents is important.
C.Joining a group of people makes us grow.
D.Helping each other brings true friendship.
【答案】24.A 25.D 26.D

25.第三段以及第四段内容“Emma taught Fatima English words, while Fatima shared Arabic expressions…Fatima invited Emma to her home and taught her to make stuffed grape leaves, a traditional Arabic dish”,放学后二人互相传授语言,还分享本土美食文化,对应D项她们分享语言与文化;文中不存在班级项目、求助老师、加入现成语言俱乐部的相关描述,排除其余三项。
26.文末Emma对母亲的独白,以及倒数第三段Emma的发言“Fatima taught me that true help isn’t doing things for someone. It’s walking beside them…I gained a new language and learned what friendship truly means”,二人彼此扶持、互帮互助,在互助过程中收获了真正的友谊,D选项契合主旨;A选项仅侧重学习语言这一表层收获,B、C选项的家长支持、加入团体成长在原文没有核心体现,予以排除。
C
Physical (身体的) activity is important and we often plan to do it. However, we don’t often think about making time to exercise as a family. While we find time for family games or movie nights, we often forget family sports. Family exercise may seem silly, but there are many benefits.
Form Lifelong Habits
By spending family time on a physical activity together, you encourage (鼓励) your children to exercise and build lifelong habits. When children see physical activities as an enjoyable thing to do together, they may keep family exercise as a family-time tradition as they grow up.
________
Children get more life skills at home than they do anywhere else. Teamwork is taught and encouraged in sports. By exercising together, you’re encouraging teamwork and working together to reach a common goal, which helps teach the importance of goal setting as a team.
Bring Encouragement
Parents are great encouragers in education and sports. You can give your children encouragement when doing family sports. Studies show that family encouragement influences (影响) children’s mental health in a good way. Good family bonding (联结) with family encouragement builds confidence in children.
It may be all well and good to think about exercising together as a family, but it may be difficult to get started. Here is some advice for you.
●Take turns on who gets to choose the physical activity. Maybe you enjoy traditional exercise while your child wants to dance. On your exercising day, encourage your child to follow along. Then allow your child to choose the next family physical activity.
●Staying safe is always something important to think about for not only children but parents as well. Choose an activity with your child’s abilities in mind. If some of your family members are not good at running, try to slow down or have them ride a bike along.
Family exercise can be both fun and a good chance for bonding (亲子关系). Remember to always choose the activity as a family and stay safe.

【解析】27.根据文章第3段“Teamwork is taught and encouraged in sports. By exercising together, you're encouraging teamwork and working together to reach a common goal...”可知,本段重点阐述了通过家庭运动来教授和鼓励团队合作,因此“Build Teamwork”最能概括本段主旨。
28.根据文章建议部分“Take turns on who gets to choose the physical activity... Then allow your child to choose the next family physical activity.”可推知,作者建议轮流选择活动并允许孩子选择,意味着孩子应该参与决定家庭锻炼的内容。
29.文章开头提到“Family exercise may seem silly, but there are many benefits.”,中间部分列举了具体益处,后半部分提出“Here is some advice for you.”并给出建议,因此文章主要讨论了家庭锻炼的益处及如何开始的建议。
D
Since the beginning of middle school, online tools have become an important part of my daily life. I use them to hand in homework, check grades, get information, and communicate with others. As we leave more information online, our personal information can be collected without our knowledge. At first, I seldom worried about privacy, but now I believe every student should take it seriously.
One problem is that apps and websites may record our online activity in ways we don’t easily notice. For example, after you look up a restaurant online, similar posts or ads may suddenly appear on your “for you page”. Some social media apps may use tools called “tracking pixels”. They are very small images (图像) placed on websites, in emails, or in apps. They can record our activity across websites and devices (设备).
Another risk comes from browsers (浏览器) and search engines. In recent years, some news reports have said that a technology company collected users’ data (数据) even after users turned off a setting to limit data sharing. The same company was also reported to collect data from many smartphone users without their agreement. This is worrying because students use search engines so often, yet they may not know where their data goes or how it is used.
Problems can also happen when companies change their rules. A social media company, once viewed as a leader in user privacy, changed a privacy feature (功能) for private messages. The company later said this protection would end after a set date. For a company that once said privacy was very important, this change makes its promise of privacy seem less believable.
Students themselves may also face serious privacy risks because of the information they share publicly. Many students post their age and even school name on social media, but these details can help strangers know who they are and where they spend time. Students should avoid sharing personal information such as their date of birth, full name, or ID numbers, because strangers may impersonate them, break into their accounts, or cause other serious problems. Photos of a home, a school, or a familiar street may also show parts of a student’s daily life to strangers.
Privacy should not be seen as a small problem, because personal safety should always come first. By sharing less private information and thinking carefully before posting, we can better protect ourselves and the people around us.
30.Why does the writer mention the restaurant example in Paragraph 2?
A.To explain why students enjoy personalized posts.
B.To show how online behavior may be followed quietly.
C.To compare different ways of finding restaurants online.
D.To suggest that social media gives students useful advice.
31.Which action would the writer most likely want students to avoid?
A.Discussing weekend activity ideas in a class group.
B.Checking grades through a school website with a personal account.
C.Changing a privacy setting before searching for information online.
D.Posting a photo that shows the name of a place they pass by every day.
32.What does the word “impersonate” in Paragraph 5 most probably mean?
A.To change someone’s online records.
B.To follow where someone often goes.
C.To sell someone’s private information online.
D.To use someone’s details and act as that person.
33.Which of the following would be the best title for the passage?
A.Students’ Data: What Is Collected and Shared Online
B.Students’ Privacy: How Apps and Websites Collect Data
C.Online Privacy: What Students Should Notice and Protect
D.Online Warning: Why Public Sharing May Bring Problems
【答案】30.B 31.D 32.D 33.C
【导语】本文探讨了中学生在日常生活中面临的网络隐私问题。
【解析】30.第二段首句指出“One problem is that apps and websites may record our online activity in ways we don’t easily notice”。随后列举的餐厅搜索例子正是为了具体说明这种“被悄悄跟踪”的现象,而非为了说明学生喜欢个性化帖子或比较找餐厅的方法。
31.文章第五段明确警告学生不要公开分享个人信息,特别是提到“Photos of a home, a school, or a familiar street may also show parts of a student’s daily life to strangers”。
C选项“Online Privacy: What Students Should Notice and Protect”既涵盖了需要注意的风险,也包含了保护行动,最能概括全文主旨,为最佳标题。
四、任务型阅读。(第34-36题每题2分,第37题4分,共10分)
阅读短文,根据短文内容回答问题
Have you ever felt like studying is a bit boring but watching someone else study makes you want to join in? You’re not alone. “Study with Me” is a new way you can try. The basic idea behind it is that watching someone else study motivates (激励) us to do the same.
“Study with Me” is a kind of live broadcast (直播) on the Internet showing real-time scenes of someone studying. The videos are often silent or include soft background music. It creates a sense of companionship (陪伴) for the viewers and provides shared focus, a common experience and a feeling of community and togetherness. Studying together can make the learning process more enjoyable and effective, leading to the rising popularity of the study broadcast. More and more students around the world find it interesting.
So, why does watching someone else study make us want to study too? Scientists explain that it’s a human’s natural habit. When we watch someone else study, we are likely to copy the habits of those around us, like following their note-taking skills and break routines, which is called mimicry (模仿). Moreover, we have the need for social support. People on the screen are like our secret study partners. When we see them working hard on the screen, we might feel that we are part of a team. It can help us keep going through our own difficulties.
“Study with Me” can be helpful, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, we should set clear study goals before joining online study partners because it can help us stay focused on our own work. Besides, it’s important not to depend on it too much because true motivation should come from within. Lastly, we’d better stick to learning with people who have well-organized study plans.
As we move further into the digital age, ways of learning are always changing, offering exciting new learning experiences. “Study with Me” is a great example to create global connections and encourage students to enjoy the learning journey through focus, fun and friendship.
34.What is “Study with Me”?
35.Why should we set clear study goals first before joining online study partners?
36.What kind of people should we choose to learn with when we study with “Study with Me”?
37.When you study after school, would you like to study with “Study with Me” or study by yourself? Why? (Please give two reasons.)

A.Confused. B.Excited. C.Angry. D.Relaxed.
25.What did Fatima and Emma do together after school?
A.They worked on a class project. B.They asked their teacher for help.
C.They joined a school language club. D.They shared languages and cultures.
26.What did Emma learn in the end?
A.Learning new languages matters a lot.
B.Being supported by parents is important.
C.Joining a group of people makes us grow.
D.Helping each other brings true friendship.

B.it’s good and easy for families to start exercising

29.What does the writer mainly talk about in the passage?
A.The ways for families to exercise together and stay safe.

27.Which of the following would be the best heading (标题) for Paragraph 3?
A.Build Teamwork B.Develop Skills
C.Keep Traditions D.Bring Happiness
28.According to the passage, the writer probably agrees that ________.
A.it’s always safe to exercise together as a family
B.it’s good and easy for families to start exercising
C.children should play a part in deciding family exercise
D.children will exercise with family more if they are confident
29.What does the writer mainly talk about in the passage?
A.The ways for families to exercise together and stay safe.
B.The choices of family exercise and the reasons to start it.
C.The benefits of family exercise and advice on how to start it.
D.The importance for children to exercise and get more life skills.

As we leave more information online, our personal information can be collected without our
knowledge. At first,I seldom worried about privacy, but now I believe every student should take it

One problem is that apps and websites may record our online activity in ways we don't easily

on your "for you page".Some social media apps may use tools called "tracking pixels".They are

Another risk comes from browsers (and search engines. In recent years, some news
reports have said that a technology company collected users'data (even after users turned off
a setting to limit data sharing. The same company was also reported to collect data from many
smartphone users without their agreement. This is worrying because students use search engines so

Problems can also happen when companies change their rules.A social media company, once

Students themselves may also face serious privacy risks because of the information they share
