第二部分 阅读理解 (共三节 满分30分)
第一节 (共5小题,每小题1.5分,满分7.5分)
根据短文内容,判断正误(正确“T”,错误“F”)
When we talk about Yunnan, many people may think of the ancient “Tea Horse Road”. Hundreds of years ago, brave men and horses travelled along dangerous mountain roads to trade (贸易) tea and salt. Today, although trucks and trains have taken the place of horses for trade, the spirit of this ancient road is coming back in a new way:cultural tourism.
In recent years, a “New Tea Horse Road” walking route(路线) has become popular among young travellers. Unlike the old days, they don’t carry heavy goods. Instead, they walk on the old roads to enjoy the beautiful mountains and learn about the local culture. They stay in old villages and talk with the local people. It helps them understand the history and the hard work of the people in the past.
Also, traditional skills are becoming popular again. In many villages in Yunnan, visitors can learn to make clay (陶土) toys called “Wamao”. These old skills are not just things to look at in museums; they are becoming part of people’s daily lives. Young people are learning these skills from old artists to keep the traditional culture alive.
The “New Tea Horse Road” is not just about walking. It is about remembering the past and enjoying the beauty of Yunnan today.
21.Hundreds of years ago, people used trucks to trade tea and salt on the “Tea Horse Road”.
22.The “New TeaHorse Road” is popular with young travellers today.
23.Travellers on the new route carry heavygoods as people did in the old days.
24.Visitors can learn traditional skills like makingclay toys called “Wamao” in some villages.
25.The text mainly tells us that the “New Tea Horse Road” is about remembering the past and enjoying Yunnan’s beauty.

2026 is the 48th year of China’s reform and opening-up (改革开放). People’s lives have changed greatly over these years. Now let’s see what the four people say about the changes.
Xu Zhenhe,57, Beijing:
I bought my first camera in 1998 in Beijing. It was made in Japan. At that time, you could only buy things from other countries in special stores. After taking photos, you had to develop the film (胶卷) to get photos. It cost 15 yuan to develop a roll of film. But I only made 500 yuan a month!
Xu Zhaolin, 25, Beijing;
Cameras weren’t common in my father’s time, but now we can buy all kinds of cameras online both at home and abroad. Actually, most of the time, phone cameras are powerful enough for us to take photos. So expensive cameras are no longer necessary.
Huang Kunrong,72, Sichuan:
When I was a kid, we had to use liangpiao to buy rice, oil, salt and so on. Each person could only get a fixed quantity (定量) of these goods each month. Sometimes people didn’t have enough rice to eat, so they could only eat the stored food like sweet potatoes.
Xiao Yao,14, Sichuan;
Compared with my grandma’s time, we are leading a much better life now. We can enjoy different kinds of food every day. For us, liangpiao has become history. And we don’t even need paper money. Instead, we use our phones to pay.

Many English learners like to write long sentences in their compositions (作文).
They want to impress others with their vocabulary and mastery of grammar. But remember, “wordy” sentences, or sentences that are unnecessarily long, can prevent us from communicating clearly. In a good sentence, every word should serve a purpose and appear in the right place.
Let's look at an example of a wordy sentence: “There is currently a lively, ongoing debate (辩论) among many university teachers and other experts who study human nature, during which arguments are being presented about what it means that so many young people who live in our society today are so interested in stories about “superheroes.” Can you easily understand this 46-word sentence? Well, you’re not alone if you can’t. In one interview, only 25 percent of people understood it.
Now, compare it with this simpler sentence: “University teachers are discussing why young people like superhero stories.” See? It’s much easier to understand and still shows the same meaning.
Here are some tips to help you avoid wordy sentences.
Tip 1: Use active verbs instead of passive ones. For example, say “The family bought a new car.” instead of “A new car was bought by the family.”
Tip 2: Avoid wordy phrases. Instead of “as a matter of fact”, just use “in fact”.
Tip 3: Put sentences together when possible. For example, instead of “Ann likes the book, and her best friend Margot likes it too”, say “Both Ann and her best friend Margot enjoy the book.”
By following these tips, you can make your writing clearer and more enjoyable for your readers.
31.Why do many English learners prefer to write long sentences in their compositions?
A. To increase the number of words in compositions.
B. To get higher scores in their writing.
C. To help their readers better understand.
D. To show their vocabulary and grammar skills.
32.What is the main problem with “wordy” sentences according to the passage?
A. They are very difficult to write.
B. They are unclear for communication.
C. They are not creative at all.
D. They are easy to make mistakes.
33.According to the passage, what percent of people couldn't easily understand the 46-word sentence?
A. B.
C. D.
34.Which of the following is an example of Tip 2?
A. Use “Jim read the book.” instead of “The book was read by Jim.”
B. Use “have the ability to” instead of “can”.
C. Use “The book was read by Jim.” instead of “Jim read the book.”
D. Use “can” instead of “have the ability to”.
35.Who is the passage written for?
A. Parents. B. Teachers.
C. Language learners. D. English experts.
C

第三节 (共5小题,每小题1.5分,满分7.5分)
“Love you, laoji” is more than a fun saying. It’s a new way of thinking for many young people in China.“Luoji” means“the old self”. The idea encourages us to treat ourselves with the same kindness, patience, and understanding that we would offer to a dear old friend. 41
● Talk to yourself kindly.
We often say harsh(严厉的) words to ourselves after making a mistake,“Why am I so silly?” But if an old friend failed a test, would you say that to him or her? Of course not! 42 Why not treat yourself the same way? Try to say,“It’s okay. I’ll do better next time.”
● 43 It’s normal to feel sad, angry or stressed. Don't ignore(忽视) these feelings or pretend to be happy all the time. Allow yourself to feel them completely. Writing them down in a diary or talking to someone you truly trust can help a lot.
● Know your limits(限度).
44 You should understand that you can’t do everything for everyone. If you're too tired, it’s okay to refuse a party invitation. If a task is too much, ask for help. Taking care of your own energy is never selfish.
●Do what makes you happy.
What activities make you lose track of time? Is it drawing, listening to music, playing basketball, or just daydreaming? 45 They are not a waste of time. They are how you relax your heart.
“Love you, laoji” is about building a lifelong friendship with yourself. When you treat yourself with kindness and respect, you’ll gain more love and strength to share with the world.
A.Understand your feelings.
B.Instead, you would encourage them.
C.Learn to do everything on your own.
D.A real “laoji” knows when to say “no”.
E.Enjoy them fully-they are gifts you give yourself.
F.So, how can we actually become a good “lagj” to ourselves?
G.Therefore, we should always put other people’s needs before our own.

My hometown has changed a lot over the years. When I was a child, there was a dirty river near my home, but now the river has become cleaner and people like to exercise along it in the morning.
Transport has improved too. In the past, narrow dirt roads made travel difficult. Now, wide highways, modern buses have connected every corner of the town, helping people live a more convenient life.
Housing has also seen positive changes. People live in tall apartment buildings with elevators instead of small old houses.
I am proud to see my hometown’s development. With support from the government and people’s hard work, it has a bright future ahead.

C.Learn to do everything on your own.
D.A real “laoji” knows when to say “no”.

44. 小标题阐释。本段主题是“知道自己的限度”,累了可以拒绝聚会、任务太多要求助,D“真正的‘老己’知道何时说‘不’”准确概括。
45. 语境衔接。空前问哪些活动让你忘记时间,空后说它们不是浪费时间、是心灵的放松;E“尽情享受它们吧——它们是你送给自己的礼物”承上启下。
