A Box of Chocolates
On Sarah’s 13th birthday, her grandma gave her a big box of delicious chocolates. Sarah loved chocolates so much that she couldn’t wait to open the box and eat them all by herself.
Just as she wanted to take the first bite, her little brother Tim came into the room and saw the chocolates. “Wow, Sarah! Those look so yummy,” Tim said.
At first, Sarah didn’t want to share. But then she remembered how sad Tim had been when he lost his favorite toy last week. She took a deep breath (呼吸) and said, “Come here, Tim. Let’s share these chocolates together.”
Tim was very happy. They sat on the sofa, chatting (聊天) and eating chocolates. Sarah found that she was having even more fun sharing with her brother than she would have eating alone.
After that, Sarah met her friend Lily on the way to the park. Lily looked a bit down because she had a fight with her best friend. Sarah took out two chocolates from the box and gave them to Lily. Lily thanked her with a big hug.
By the end of the day, most of the chocolates were gone. But Sarah felt really happy. She learned that sharing a box of chocolates could bring so much joy to others.

A Box of Chocolates
