根据短文内容,判断正误(正确“T”,错误“F”)。
Dear Motherland,
Happy birthday! You are growing stronger and stronger! How wonderful it is!
Over the past years, many great changes have taken place.
Look! Our life has changed a lot! My grandma often tells me that in the past, life was hard. Each person was allowed to buy only 250 grams (克) of meat per month. Today we can buy whatever we want and eat as much meat as we like.
Look! Our cities have changed a lot! We have cleaner rivers, wider roads and clearer skies. We learned in our history classes that in the 1980s, Pudong was full of farm fields. There were few parks or shopping malls at the time. Today, Pudong has the world’s third-tallest building. People also have more ways to spend their weekends. They can go shopping, watch movies with friends or take a walk in a park.
China’s transportation has also changed greatly. My father remembers that in 1992, he spent 22 hours travelling from Shanghai to Beijing by train. Today the world’s fastest high-speed train rushes between Shanghai and Beijing. A one-way trip takes only four hours and 18 minutes.
The older generations worked hard to make these changes happen. The future now lies in the hands of us young people. I believe we can make you stronger!
Best wishes,
A teenager from Shanghai

Making healthy choices is important. Eating the right food, staying active and getting enough sleep can help your body in lots of ways.
Picking the right food gives you the energy to do all the things you love. It also helps your body grow and your brain develop. Eating things such as fruits, vegetables and whole grains (全谷物) is good for your health. However, being healthy doesn’t mean you can never eat snacks. It’s about making sure you have a balanced diet. “When you choose a balanced diet, you’ll have more energy, feel better and be able to do the things you love,” Lucy Upton, a children’s dietitian (营养学家), says.
Another healthy choice you can make is being active—whether it is sports, going for a walk or playing a game. Being active helps your brain make special chemicals. These chemicals can relax your body and calm your mind. Being active can help your body and your mind stay fighting fit. Feeling fit can make you feel better and more confident about yourself. When you play a ball game with others, you can even make new friends.
Finally, getting enough sleep is also very important. Sleep helps your body grow. While you sleep, your brain is busy building new connections and your body is repairing itself. Preparing properly for bedtime helps you stay asleep. A good way to tire yourself out is by getting plenty of exercise during the day, like walking to and from school or doing sports. Take an hour or two to rest or relax after a period of activities before bed. Don’t drink tea or coffee, and turn off phones, computers and video games. Try reading a book instead.
Remember: making healthy choices is the key to keep your body and your mind fit and strong. Let’s get started now!

47.What does the underlined word “it” in Paragraph 3 refer to (指)?

Back in 1999, an American exchange teacher Ronald Sakolsky was deeply touched by Yin Yuzhen’s hard work on desert greening. So he raised 5,000 dollars to support her work in the Mu Us Desert.
The two lost contact after donation. But Yin never forgot his help. Today, that 5,000-dollar donation has finally grown into over 50,000 trees. The desert has turned into thick woods, where wild animals come back and sandstorms are well controlled.
Missing the kind foreign friend all the time, Yin made a public video and invited Sakolsky to see the forest for himself. The video spread quickly online. An online user wrote, “You give me a drop of water, I return a sea. You plant a single tree, I give back a spring.”
With people’s help, they talked through a video call within 48 hours. Learning his small kindness created such great changes, Sakolsky felt greatly surprised and excited.
Sakolsky has always loved Chinese culture and kept sharing what he learnt in China with his students after returning home. He gladly accepted Yin’s invitation and hoped to plant trees together in person.
This moving story attracts wide attention online. More international friends have joined the tree-planting activity to make the earth greener. The lasting friendship and joint efforts fully show that all humans share one common home, and that kindness will always take root and grow strong.

“Life is not only about daily chores, but also poems and distant lands.” This is a common saying among many Chinese, which echoes the design idea of a newly opened library on a slow train running along the Yangtze River.
Recently, the regular passengers were amazed to find that new bookshelves packed with books, and chairs facing the outside river view, had replaced traditional seats at a corner of the train’ s No.3 carriage. A sign that reads “Train Library” explains the changes.
“We changed our carriage into a learning area at the beginning of the year, and we invited the Chongqing Library to set up its first train library aboard our train,” said Deng Yeqin, head of the No.5609 train. The slow train, running at a speed of 60 km per hour, stops at 17 stations along its route. It takes about seven hours for the train to reach its final destination.
Qin Guangbin, a 50-year-old passenger, was reading some articles on his laptop in the learning carriage. “I’ve seen great changes made to this train over the years, not just the new library,” Qin said.
Slow trains have been working on their services for specific groups of passengers over the years. Some gave up seats to provide space for farmers who travel with animals to sell, while Deng’s train mainly serves students, especially at weekends.
“In the future, we will offer more books to enrich our passengers’ travel experience,” Deng added.

【答案】56.B 57.A 58.C 59.D 60.A
【导语】本文是一篇记叙文,主要介绍5609号慢火车增设“列车图书馆”,给乘客带来全新乘车体验的相关情况。
【详解】56.根据第一段中“‘Life is not only about daily chores, but also poems and distant lands.’ This is a common saying among many Chinese, which echoes the design idea of a newly opened library on a slow train running along the Yangtze River.”可知,这句俗语和火车上新开设图书馆的设计理念相呼应,echo在此处表示“契合、与……一致”,与Agrees“相符、一致”同义。
57.根据第二段中“Recently, the regular passengers were amazed to find that new bookshelves packed with books, and chairs facing the outside river view, had replaced traditional seats at a corner of the train’s No.3 carriage.”可知,列车的三号车厢角落新增了摆满书籍的书架。
58.根据第三段中“The slow train, running at a speed of 60 km per hour, stops at 17 stations along its route.”可知,火车时速为60千米每小时,换算之后就是每分钟1千米。因此C选项表述正确。根据第三段中“The slow train, running at a speed of 60 km per hour, stops at 17 stations along its route.”可知,这趟列车沿途会停靠17个站点,不是7个站点,因此A选项表述错误;根据第三段中“we invited the Chongqing Library to set up its first train library aboard our train”可知,重庆图书馆只是受邀帮忙建立列车图书馆,列车并不归属于重庆图书馆,因此B选项表述错误;根据第三段中“We changed our carriage into a learning area at the beginning of the year”可知,今年年初是把车厢改造为学习区域,并不是这趟列车才开始运行,因此D选项表述错误。
59.根据第五段中“while Deng’s train mainly serves students, especially at weekends.”
