Our seasons may surprise you. When it is summer in China, it is winter here. Spring starts in September and ends in November. It is rainy, but it starts to get warmer. New leaves appear, and I like walking in the park after the rain. Summer is from December to February. It is warm during the day and cool at night. I often go swimming with my family. January is a good month for our beach days. Autumn starts in March and ends in May. The weather becomes cooler. I enjoy taking photos of colourful leaves. Autumn is my favourite season because I like cool weather and quiet walks. Winter lasts from June to August. It is cool and wet in Auckland. I wear a warm coat on cold days. We do not usually have snow in the city. In July, my family sometimes travels to the mountains to go skiing. If you want a beach holiday, I suggest January.
