教学目标

1.语言能力：掌握描述家乡变化的词汇（rough, highway, railway, sandstorm等）；运用“used to.../But now...”今昔对比结构和“has/have done”现在完成时描述家乡过去与现在的变化；能通过听前预测和听中获取Li Rui家乡在交通、教育、医疗、购物、环境等方面的具体变化信息，完成表格填写与填空任务。

2.文化意识：通过Li Rui家乡今昔变化，体会祖国城乡建设的巨大成就，感受变化对人们生活的积极影响；理解并践行“Love our hometown, and we can all contribute to its development”的主题意义。

3.思维品质：能通过观察图片与听前预测做出合理推断；区分一般过去时（描述过去）与现在完成时（描述变化结果）的形式与意义；辩证思考“Are all changes good?”，评价变化可能带来的弊端，形成对家乡发展的全面认识。

4.学习能力：能在角色扮演中模仿对话语调，运用目标语言交流；能以小组为单位围绕“What has changed the most in your hometown?”进行采访与汇报，综合运用所学语言描述家乡变化。

Step 1 Lead in

1.Show Ss some pictures of a hometown in the past and now. Ask: What can you see in the pictures? How do you feel?

2.Present and drill the new words: rough, highway, railway, sandstorm, etc.

3.Ask Ss: What has changed in your city/town over the years? Encourage Ss to share freely.

Tips: used to do sth. 表示过去常常做某事；But now... 描述现在发生的变化。

Step 2 Pre-listening

1.Lead Ss to look at the pictures in 1a and predict what changes have taken place in Li Rui’s hometown, using used to.../But now...

2.Ask Ss to predict what aspects may be mentioned in the listening (transportation, education, healthcare, shopping, environment).

3.Preview the table and the fill-in task; predict possible answers.
