He was a well‑respected Chinese biologist. He spent his whole life researching plants and seeds. When he found that seed research in Xizang was far from enough, he decided to go there to collect seeds in person. It was very difficult for him to brave the terrible cold weather and great heights. Sometimes he fell sick, but he never gave up his work. Besides doing research himself, he started a programme to train local students. He hoped more people could take part in seed collection and protection. Together with his team, he collected more than 40 million seeds. Unluckily, he died in a car accident in 2017. Although he has passed away, his love for his job and research still lives on in his students. He sets a good example for all of us. From him, I have learned that we should keep going even if we meet difficulties. I hope I can do something meaningful for our country in the future. 范文 2 My Hero（王亚平） My favourite person is Wang Yaping, who I respect very much. She is China's first woman to walk in space. She is full of courage and wisdom. To realize her space dream, she kept practising and made great efforts all the time. Finally, she made her dream come true. What makes her even more special is that she was the first woman to teach a live class from space. Her wonderful class opened a new world for thousands of students and encouraged lots of teenagers to show interest in science. Many young people look up to her. Her spirit inspires me to work hard at my schoolwork. I know the road to dreams is never easy. But from Wang Yaping, I learn that as long as we never give up, we can get close to our goals. I hope I can also make some achievements for our country one day. 范文 3 An Inspiring Person — Mozi（墨子） To me, one of the most inspiring people in ancient China is Mozi, a great thinker. Mozi lived during the Warring States Period. Back then, many kingdoms fought against one another. Lots of common people got hurt in those wars. To stop the pain brought by wars, Mozi spent his whole life trying to bring peace to the world. He believed that people should show the same kindness and care to everyone, no matter whether they were family members, friends or strangers. He also asked states not to attack each other. It is said that Mozi was good at woodwork and invented the kite, yet his greatest influence comes from his thoughts. Though Mozi lived more than 2000 years ago, his ideas live on today. From him, I learn the importance of peace. Where there is a will, there is a way. I hope to pass on his spirit in my daily life. 范文 4 A Brave Pilot I Admire（阿米莉亚・埃尔哈特） The person I admire most is Amelia Earhart, a famous flight pioneer. Amelia was a brave girl full of courage when she was young. After taking her first flight, she knew she wanted to become a pilot more than anything else. Since her family could not afford flying lessons, she worked hard to pay for them on her own. In 1922, she flew higher than any woman had done before. Later in 1932, she made history: she became the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean all by herself. Soon she became famous around the world. Many people look up to Earhart. She is an inspiring person because of her hard‑working spirit and her ability to make her dreams come true. From her, I realize that nothing is impossible if we stick to our dreams. Whenever I meet difficulties in study, I will think of her and never give up。 学科网（北京）股份有限公司 $
