Before a trip, most people will plan their vacations well and decide where to go. But others like the feeling of opening the blind box plane tickets (盲盒机票).
The travel is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you will get when you use a blind box plane ticket. Each blind box may be different, but the idea is the same. After you buy a blind box cheaply — usually 100 to 200 yuan, you will have a few places to choose from. Then you have a year to take the trip.
But these are usually not very popular destinations. For example, Fan bought her first blind box plane ticket in March, and she went to Zhangye in Gansu. “Lesser-known (鲜为人知的) destinations can bring surprises,” Fan said. When she arrived in Zhangye, she found she could share a car with others and save some money. She also felt people there were nice.
Liao had a different experience. Liao decided to travel with his two friends. It started when one of them got a blind box plane ticket to Changsha. Liao followed to buy one. But the other friend of Liao wasn’t so lucky. Finally, he had to buy a plane ticket at the original price (原价).

第四空前提到“Play music when cleaning.(打扫的时候放音乐)”,可推知此处承接打扫时放音乐的内容,A“Each family member can share his or her favorite song to play when tidying up.”符合语境,给出了具体的音乐选择建议。
【50题详解】
第五空后句提到“But it can help to build a good habit of tidying up.(但这有助于养成整理的好习惯)”,推知此处和后文构成转折关系,C“It might take longer before the mess (杂乱) is gone.”符合语境,说明每天花10分钟整理的方式虽然耗时久,但益处很大。
三、阅读表达。(共10小题;每小题2分,计20分)
根据短文内容,完成图表中所缺信息,词数不限。
Do you enjoy planting flowers with your family? Do you know how to make your garden more beautiful? Many people may say sure. Sunlight and water, of course! However, there is another surprising key helping you to grow happy and healthy plants. That is music!
According to a study, listening to music can affect plant growth. It shows that plants grow faster, with larger flowers and healthier leaves when they listen to music. Also, different kinds of music even have different influences (影响) on plants.
How can this happen? In fact, plants don’t hear sounds like humans do, but they can feel vibrations (震动) from sounds. These sound vibrations can help plants grow like wind or water.
Then, what kinds of music do plants like better? Chris Beardshaw, a famous expert in gardening, once did some research on this. He discovered that classical music improved plant growth, and that heavy metal music also helped grow healthier plants. However, he found that rock music might cause plants to die. So be careful with the kinds of music when you play music in your garden.
In a word, the study showed that plants like rhythmic (有节奏的) music better, especially classical music and heavy metal music. Actually, it’s not easy to understand what music plants like better. That’s because it also depends on (取决于) the kinds of plants, the kinds of music, and the areas where plants grow. In order to build a bridge between music and plant growth, people need to do more research.
Whether (是否) or not plants truly like music, you can play music in your garden, especially when you work there. At the very least, music can make you enjoy the work more.
Results:
* Music ____51____ in affecting plant growth.
* Different kinds of music have different influences on plants.
Reasons:
* Plants feel the sound ____52____ hearing it.
* The sound vibrations help plants grow.

【53题详解】
根据第四段“classical music improved plant growth, and that heavy metal music also helped grow healthier plants”可知,这两种音乐都能促进植物生长,grow“生长”,根据“help sb/sth do”可知用动词原形。故填grow。
【54题详解】
根据第五段“In order to build a bridge between music and plant growth, people need to do more research”可知,需要做更多研究来建立音乐与植物生长之间的联系,即连接音乐与植物生长,用connect“连接”,不定式符号to后用动词原形。故填connect。
【55题详解】
根据最后一段“you can play music in your garden”的建议,这是鼓励人们将音乐加入日常园艺活动中,add“添加”符合语境,不定式符号to后用动词原形。故填add。

How tall can a tree grow? In China, the tallest tree is a Cupressus torulosa (藏柏) in Nyingchi, Xizang. It stands at 101.2 metres tall. If you include the dead trunk, it stands at 102.3 metres. This makes it the second-tallest kind of tree in the world after the Coast Redwood in the US.
In February 2023, scientists first found a very tall Cupressus torulosa in Nyingchi. It was about 86 metres tall, making it the tallest tree in China at that time. In April, a team came to measure (测量) the trees carefully. They found that the area had many tall trees, some over 85 metres, and some even over 90 metres. Finally, in May, they found the tallest tree.
The tree is in a natural forest, which is hard to reach. Researchers had to climb tall mountains, cross freezing rivers, and even watch out for wild animals. When they finally found the tree, they were surprised by its size.
To find out the tree’s height, the researchers used drones (无人机) and lidar (激光雷达) to help them check the area and collect information quickly. But the thick (茂密的) forest made it hard to see the tree’s roots and trunk, so they used drones and lidar to create a 3D model of the tree.
Taking a full picture of the tree was also hard. Since they couldn’t photograph the whole tree from one point, they used a drone to take 161 photos from different heights. Then, they put them together to make a complete picture.
