Part I (Para. 1): ____________________

Part III (Paras. 6–9): ____________________

Step 7 Brainstorming for Writing (5 minutes)
Activity 1 Brainstorm the main points of a class exhibition trip by asking questions:
1. What is the exhibition about?
2. What are the highlights?
3. When are we going?
4. Where shall we meet?

Step 8 In-class Writing (8 minutes)
Ask students to write an announcement for club members about a trip to an exhibition. Requirements:
- The theme is paintings by several famous artists.
- The highlight is one painting by Tang Yin.
- Include practical information (time, place, meeting point).
- About 80 words.
Step 9 Feedback and Summary (3 minutes)
Pick 2 drafts for quick comment, highlight common errors (missing meeting point, plain highlight description), and summarise the three-part structure.
IV. Homework
1. Revise your in-class notice: add missing practical details and make the highlight description more vivid. Hand it in next lesson.
2. Write a 100-word email to your foreign teacher Henry, inviting him to the school paper-cutting exhibition. Include time, place and exhibition content.
V. Blackboard Design

An Art Exhibition Notice

Right: Useful sentences
The highlight of the show is... / The exhibition runs from...to... / Admission is... / No photos or food and drink.
VI. Teaching Reflection
