Everyone wants to become a better person. Here are some suggestions for you!
._ “Becoming a better person” is a process that you will be likely to spend the rest of your life on, so accept the fact that it's going to take long to become a better person. There isn't one specific(具体的)moment when you will finally make it.
._ Consider how you react(反应)to stress, how you deal with loss, how you manage your anger and how you treat your loved ones. You have to understand how you are now before you understand how to grow.
._ Try to make it as specific as possible. Instead of saying “I'd like to be a better friend”, break the goal down into parts. What do you mean by that? Do you mean reaching out to others more often? Do you mean making yourself available to spend time with your family and friends? In a word, make the goal as specific as possible.
._ Put the changes down on paper, or it's better to keep a diary. This will help open up your introspective(反省的)side, and allow you to better understand yourself.
._ Role models are a great source of inspiration(灵感的源泉), and their stories can make us feel strong when life is hard. You might choose a player or an artist, or you might choose someone close to you.
