Who’s Agony Aunt?
An agony aunt is a British advice columnist who gives advice to people who send in personal problems to the advice column of a newspaper or a magazine.

Smart Sentence
It means to have an unguarded talk or careless talk.
It is a phrase which was coined during World War II, by the American army, to warn the servicemen about not revealing important information to the enemy nations that might weaken the war efforts.

2. Disappointed by his behavior, I said all this to my best friend. I was just letting off steam really, because I was so angry, but then my friend went and told everyone else’s what I’d said.
“disappointed by his behavior”, an adverb of reason, means “because I was disappointed by his behavior”.
“let off steam” : to get rid of your energy, anger or strong emotions by doing something active or noisy.
Eg: When he was frustrated, he let off steam by going for a run.
