其亮点在于融合语言能力与学习能力培养,采用“learn words in chunks”策略,设计听(Listen and write)、说(Pair work)、读(Read and finish)、写(Write a letter)多模态活动,提升学生语言理解与表达能力。通过问题解决任务(如针对记单词难、忘得快等问题的tips)培养思维品质,学生能掌握科学学习方法,教师可借助结构化活动提高教学效率。

Think and write
There are too many words to remember quickly.
Learn the most common words first, and use pictures or small stories to remember them. Don’t try to learn too many at once.
I learn many new words but forget them soon after.
Review words regularly: look at them again after 1 day, 3 days, and 1 week. Use sticky notes or a “word box” to test yourself.
I know many words but don’t know how to use them in sentences.
Learn words in short phrases or sentences, not alone. For example, learn “eat an apple” instead of just “apple”. Practice making one sentence with each new word.
Write a letter
Use your tips and help Mulan write a letter to the students.

Body
1.Don’t try to remember all the new words at once. Instead, learn 5–6 new words each day and use them in short sentences. Review them the next morning and again before bed. This helps move them into your long-term memory.
2.Use new words in real situations. After you learn a word, make your own sentence with it—even a silly one! Try to use at least one new word when you talk or write each day. You can also keep a small notebook and write down example sentences from stories or videos.
3.Review often and in different ways. Instead of just reading word lists, listen to the words, say them aloud, draw a picture for each one, or play matching games with a friend. The more ways you connect with a word, the easier it is to remember and use.

What Is a Chunk?
A chunk is a group of words that are usually used together. For example, "by the end of the day" or "leave it behind". It’s easier to learn and remember words in chunks than one by one. Try learning chunks in different ways. Find out what works for you!
