Passage B
Traditional crafts should change with daily life. This does not mean that old skills should be forgotten. It means that makers can keep the main steps and create useful new forms. Cloisonne gives a clear example.
In the past, it was often seen in royal places and on special objects. Today, young makers use the skill for cups, boxes, room design and public art. These new uses help people see the craft in ordinary life. Young buyers also like Chinese designs, so traditional works can find new friends at home and abroad.
This matters because a craft survives when people use it. If buyers meet it in daily life, they may choose it, talk about it and pass it on to others. Some workshops work with fashion companies, while others develop safer materials. Such changes need time and careful work, but they help the craft stay active.
Schools can also offer simple courses. Students may not become makers, yet they can learn to respect patient handwork. A craft is not a museum object that never changes. It can keep its old beauty and also speak to people today. In this way, tradition is protected by being used, shared and improved.
25. What does the writer think makers should do?
A.Forget all old steps.
B.Keep old skills and create useful new forms.
C.Make only museum objects.
D.Stop teaching young people.
26. Where can cloisonne be used today according to the passage?
A.Only in royal places.
B.Only on fans.
C.In cups, boxes, room design and public art.
D.Only in old books.
27. What is the writer’s opinion about school courses?
A.They can help students respect careful handwork.
B.They are useful only for future artists.
C.They should replace all practice.
D.They make crafts less active.
28. What does “speak to people today” mean?
A.Use a loud voice.
B.Tell people old stories only.
C.Move the craft to a museum.
D.Make the craft useful and meaningful in modern life.

Xu Jingjian is a young artist in Zhoushan village, Suzhou. He makes pictures on fruit stones, such as olive stones. One day, he decided to make a tiny boat. The idea came from an old Chinese story. The boat had people, a teapot and a small oven.
Before starting, Xu spent half a year studying and practising. Then he worked for a whole month to finish the boat. It was only 4.5 centimeters long. His work needed steady hands and many long hours of quiet practice every day.
The small space made the work difficult because every line had to be clear. Xu checked the boat again and again. He did not hurry when a part was hard. This kind of art began in the Song Dynasty and later became popular. In the past, people hung the small works on fans or wore them as decorations.
Today, Xu and other artists are bringing the old skill back. Young artists learn from older makers and try new ways to show old stories. Xu’s small boat shows that patience can turn an ordinary fruit stone into a fine piece of art.

Passage C
Yuezhou fan is a traditional fan from Yueyang, Hunan. It has a history of about 400 years and became famous for its fine work. A fan uses thin bamboo for the frame, ox horn for small nails and Xuan paper for the cover. It must pass through 72 steps before it is finished.
Making the frame is especially difficult because each part must fit well. Liu Zhengwen has made Yuezhou fans for 56 years. He joined a fan factory in the 1970s and saw the factory become smaller when electric fans and air conditioners became common.
After the factory closed, Liu opened Baling Fan Studio with family members and former workmates. Today, he teaches his son and daughter. His son makes fans, while his daughter designs the patterns. Fewer people use this kind of fan every day, but the fans still have art and collection value.
Each finished fan shows the maker’s patience. The light frame, smooth paper and clear pattern must work together. Visitors can see both a useful object and a piece of art. The craft was listed as a national cultural heritage in 2021. Liu hopes the family will keep the old steps and help more young people understand the beauty of the fan.

Ⅴ. 阅读下面短文,根据短文内容回答问题。(38—42题,每题4分,共20分)
