I’d never heard of it, but all of the other options were sequels (续集) or Christmas movies. Flow had a great trailer (预告片), excellent reviews, and won many awards. I was told. It is about the adventures of a black cat, a yellow dog, and several other animals that band together to survive a catastrophic flood. There are no people in the film. In fact, there is no dialogue at all in the hour and a half. You would think that a movie without any human characters or dialogue would be boring. Well, Flow is anything BUT. On the contrary, I was often on the edge of my seat, terrified for the danger these little guys faced. They’re constantly escaping enemies and rising water. Eventually, our black cat finds himself in a new land. At the start of the movie he is alone, but by the end he is surrounded by new friends. What, if anything, does this movie “mean”? Clearly, one of the basic themes is unity — different species that initially don’t get along eventually learn to help each other survive. But I think the fact that humans are completely absent seems intentional. The animals pass through run-down, abandoned towns, implying that humanity may have been wiped out by a disaster. Combined with the flood, this suggests a metaphor about climate change and sea level rise. The movie’s metaphors are subtle: water is an ever-present symbol in the film, and it is constantly flowing forward, pushing the action and our characters. With the title literally named Flow, temporariness seems to be the main message: things constantly changing, the world moves on. We often can’t control storms of life. What we can control are our own actions. You can choose to fight the current or go with it and make the best of what you find down river. Or it could mean something else completely different to you! Like the best poems, this movie is open to multiple interpretations. 24.What initially motivated the author to watch the film Flow? A.Recommendations from strangers. B.Its positive reception and many awards. C.Curiosity about an unknown movie. D.Its unique theme concerning animals. 25.Which of the following is a distinctive feature of Flow? A.It involves more than human characters. B.It contains no spoken dialogue. C.It is a short animation within 90 minutes. D.It is primarily a Christmas-themed story. 26.In the author’s opinion, what does humans’ absence from the film imply? A.The loss of humanity. B.The difficulty of survival. C.The unpredictability of life. D.The unity of diverse species. 27.Where is the text probably from? A.A textbook on animation. B.An eco-tour journal. C.An editorial on global warming. D.An entertainment website. 根据第一段中“Flow had a great trailer, excellent reviews, and won many awards. I was told.(Flow有精彩的预告片、极佳的口碑,还斩获了许多奖项。我是听说的)”可知,作者最初是被这部电影的良好反响和众多奖项所吸引才去观看的。 25.细节理解题。根据第二段中“In fact, there is no dialogue at all in the hour and a half.(事实上,在这一个半小时里,电影完全没有对白)”可知,没有任何口头对话是该片最鲜明的特色。 26. 根据第四段中“The animals pass through run-down, abandoned towns, implying that humanity may have been wiped out by a disaster.(动物们穿过了破败荒废的城镇,暗示人类可能已被一场灾难消灭)”可知,作者认为人类在影片中的缺席暗示了人类的覆灭。 27. C The Olympic Games represent the peak of athletic achievement. Modern athletes benefit from excellent coaching, good nutrition and recovery strategies. Yet, some are turning to unique methods to improve themselves. One such technique is called EEG neurofeedback (脑电波神经反馈), which involves placing small sensors on the head to record and display brainwaves in real time. It helps athletes recognize and produce brainwave patterns that enhance focus and relaxation, or achieve a personalized best state for their skills. When the technique displays what is happening in the brain in real time, people can easily experiment by bringing different thoughts or images to their minds. Then they’ll immediately see how the brain signals change. It is through this process that they can learn to recognize different brain states and apply psychological strategies to help them take control. In a study, researchers asked 40 adult volunteers to cycle until extreme tiredness on an exercise bike after performing just 12 minutes of neurofeedback. 13 people were asked to produce a brainwave pattern that would be conducive to endurance (耐力) exercise. The other 13 were asked to produce a brainwave pattern which wouldn’t improve performance. The remaining 14 participants had to watch a neurofeedback recording without controlling their brainwaves. The results were striking. The group that had been asked to produce the positive brainwave rode for 30% longer than the others. Later, researchers invited the 26 participants from the first two groups back to the lab. They received the opposite neurofeedback treatment from the first experiment before they repeated the cycling test. The participants rode for an average of 11% longer on the day they received the positive neurofeedback treatment. Despite these results, researchers decided to repeat the study with a larger sample and with more highly-trained cyclists to better understand the role of this technique in other sports. Scientists are now trying to use the research findings to make a difference elsewhere. The research regards neurofeedback as a potential means to help with the recovery or management of diseases of the nervous system. So, while Olympic medals are valued, if neurofeedback research could eventually lead to effective treatments beyond sports, that may well be the biggest prize of all. 28.What is the new technique EEG neurofeedback used for in sports? A.Helping build a nutritional strategy. B.Monitoring athletes’ physical strength. C.Training voluntary brain control in athletes. D.Predicting athletes’ best performance limits. 29.What does the underlined word “conducive” in paragraph 3 possibly mean? A.Identical. B.Resistant. C.Harmless. D.Beneficial. 30.Why were 26 participants invited back to the lab? A.To test the study methods. B.To provide high-level training. C.To further confirm the study results. D.To expand the groups of the subjects. 31.What might be the researchers’ attitude towards the technique’s wide use in sports? A.Cautious. B.Concerned. C.Positive. D.Tolerant. 根据第二段中的“It helps athletes recognize and produce brainwave patterns that enhance focus and relaxation, or achieve a personalized best state for their skills. (它帮助运动员识别并生成能提升专注与放松的脑电波模式,或是适配自身运动技能,达到专属的最佳竞技状态。)”以及“It is through this process that they can learn to recognize different brain states and apply psychological strategies to help them take control. (通过这个过程,他们能学会识别不同大脑状态,运用心理方法掌控大脑)”可知,这项技术用于训练运动员自主控制大脑。 29.词句猜测题。根据第三段中的“13 people were asked to produce a brainwave pattern that would be conducive to endurance (耐力) exercise. The other 13 were asked to produce a brainwave pattern which wouldn’t improve performance. (13人被要求生成一种对耐力运动____的脑电波模式,另外13人则生成无法提升运动表现的脑电波模式)”可知,两句形成对比,由后句“wouldn’t improve performance (无法提升表现)”可推出前句conducive意为“有助于”,与“Beneficial (有益的)”意思相近。 30.推理判断题。根据第四段中的“They received the opposite neurofeedback treatment from the first experiment before they repeated the cycling test. The participants rode for an average of 11% longer on the day they received the positive neurofeedback treatment. (在重复骑行测试之前,他们接受了与第一项实验相反的神经反馈治疗。接受积极神经反馈治疗的参与者,在当天平均骑行时间比之前延长了11%)”,该反向复测是为进一步验证实验结论。 31.推理判断题。根据第四段中的“Despite these results, researchers decided to repeat the study with a larger sample and with more highly-trained cyclists to better understand the role of this technique in other sports. (尽管已有明确实验结果,研究人员仍决定扩大样本、选用专业骑手重复实验,以便更充分弄清这项技术在各类运动中的作用)”可知,研究人员不满足现有数据,主动扩大样本、补充实验验证效果,体现出严谨审慎的态度。 D In forests, certain fungi (真菌) attach themselves to trees and fallen logs to break down the carbon within their wood and release it as carbon dioxide. However, when their preferred meal is unavailable, these wood-decaying fungi can consume plastic instead. White rot fungi, for example, break down lignin — a strong organic polymer that gives wood its rigidity — by using enzymes, which are proteins that accelerate chemical reactions within cells. “We reasoned that if these fungi can decay decay-resistant hardwoods, especially lignin, they might possess some tools to decay other polymers as well,” says Renuka Attanayake, a plant pathology professor at the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. To test this theory, researchers collected 50 fungal samples from rotting wood in a dry forest in Sri Lanka. They were placed in two different conditions: one dish contained only plastic (low-density polyethylene), while the other offered a choice between plastic and wood. After a 45-day observation period, the results showed a clear preference. Although the fungi naturally gravitated toward the wood, they still succeeded in breaking down the plastic in both groups. More importantly, in the absence of wood, the degradation rate remained significant, pointing to an evolutionary survival mechanism. “These organisms are metabolically flexible,” Attanayake notes. “This may be an evolutionary advantage — the fungi had to survive on whatever was available.” Scientists do not yet know how the fungi’s chemical pathways change when consuming polyethylene, but white rot fungi use oxidizing enzymes to break down both wood and plastic. So far, over 430 species of fungi and bacteria have been found to break down plastic. If these enzymes can be identified and replicated, they could eventually help remove some of the 400 million tonnes of plastic waste produced each year, much of which ends up in landfills or spills into the ocean instead of being recycled. This study represents a small step toward understanding how fungi could help address plastic pollution. Nevertheless, scientists must first test how wood-decaying fungi perform in different conditions, such as landfills, and whether they pose a threat to native trees. “Under restricted conditions we may use this one day, but much more research is needed,” Attanayake said. 32.What does the underlined phrase “gravitated toward” in paragraph 3 probably mean? A.Broke down naturally. B.Moved away from. C.Reacted violently to. D.Showed a preference for. 33.What can be inferred about the fungi from the 45-day experiment? A.They cannot eat plastic if wood is available. B.They use plastic as a survival strategy when hungry. C.They need wood to activate the enzymes needed. D.They break down plastic faster than natural wood 34.What is Attanayake’s attitude towards the application of this technology? A.Critical and doubtful. B.Enthusiastic and blind. C.Supportive but reserved. D.Skeptical but open-minded. 35.Which of the following would be the best title for the text? A.Fungi: From Wood Decay to Plastic Solution B.Fungi: A New Hope for Forest Conservation C.Fungi: A Complete Guide to Their Life Cycle D.Fungi: The Only Hope for Plastic Pollution 【答案】32.D 33.B 34.C 35.A 【导语】文章主要介绍腐木真菌本以树木木质素为食,在缺少食物时可分解塑料;斯里兰卡教授团队通过45天对照实验证实该真菌代谢灵活,无木材时也能高效降解塑料,科学家有望复制其酶处理塑料垃圾,但该技术落地还需更多研究验证。 根据原文第三段“Although the fungi naturally gravitated toward the wood, they still succeeded in breaking down the plastic in both groups.(尽管这些真菌天生gravitated toward木材,但两组实验里它们依旧能分解塑料。)”及第一段“In forests, certain fungi attach themselves to trees and fallen logs to break down the carbon within their wood and release it as carbon dioxide.(在森林中,部分真菌依附在树木与枯木上,分解木材内部的碳元素,并将其以二氧化碳的形式释放出来。)” 根据原文第三段“More importantly, in the absence of wood, the degradation rate remained significant, pointing to an evolutionary survival mechanism. “These organisms are metabolically flexible,” Attanayake notes. “This may be an evolutionary advantage — the fungi had to survive on whatever was-available.”(更重要的是,在没有木材的情况下,塑料降解效率依旧十分可观,这体现出一种进化形成的生存机制。Attanayake指出:“这类生物的代谢方式具备很强的适应性。这或许是一种进化优势 —— 真菌只能依靠身边一切可获取的物质维持生存。”)”可知,缺少食物时真菌会利用塑料维持生存。 34.推理判断题。根据原文最后一段““Under restricted conditions we may use this one day, but much more research is needed,” Attanayake said.(Attanayake表示:“在限定条件下这项技术未来或许能投入使用,但仍需开展大量研究。”)” 根据原文第一段“However, when their preferred meal is unavailable, these wood-decaying fungi can consume plastic instead.(然而,当喜爱的食物短缺时,这类腐木真菌可以转而分解塑料。)” Being a camp counselor (辅导员) is an exciting and important job! The main complaint centered on the absence of Apple Intelligence and the new Siri AI features. Due to regulatory requirements, these core 57 (function) are not available in the Chinese version of iOS 27. As a result, many tech bloggers have joked that the domestic version of iOS 27 should 58 (call) “iOS 26.5” instead. The only significant update that Chinese users can actually experience is the long-awaited holiday alarm clock, 59 automatically adapts to China’s complex holiday schedules and avoids waking users up on make-up workdays. “It took Apple years to add 60 feature that Android phones have had for ages,” one netizen commented bitterly. Well-known entrepreneur Luo Yonghao also weighed in on the debate, 61 (express) his disappointment with Apple’s lack of innovation. “Wow, so many innovations,” he said sarcastically. He further argued that consumers should not “act so cheap” 62 simply accepting incremental upgrades that offer no real value. The controversy reflects a 63 (grow) frustration among Chinese consumers. While Apple has long been regarded as a leader in technological innovation, its recent performance suggests it is falling behind domestic competitors like Huawei and Xiaomi, 64 are rapidly integrating advanced AI features into their devices. He was the only son to his parent. His father worked as a carpenter and his mother was a home maker. Although Mike’s family wasn’t a rich one, they led a happy and fulfilling life. Mike’s school was located a mile away from his home. Mike’s birthday was coming up in a week. He requested his father to buy him a bicycle, so that he can go to school in cycle. His father also promised him to buy a bicycle so that his son need not walk to school anymore. Hearing this, Mike felt so happy and joyful. The birthday boy woke up happily with his mother and father wishing him with all smiles on his birthday. Mike was feeling very happy and expects that his father would gift him the bicycle. However, his father gifted him a beautiful parcel which was wrapped nicely and Mike saw a set of books as the birthday gift from his father. Although he was a little unhappy as he did not receive the bicycle, he thanked his father. Mike’s father was depressed as he did not have enough money to buy a new cycle as his son’s birthday gift. He promised to his son that he would buy him a cycle in the near future. After a week, when he was walking on his way to his home back from school, he saw a boy riding a cycle. Mike felt that the cycle was too small for the big boy. Suddenly, the boy crashed into a post and fell down in the street. Mike rushed to him and recognized him. He was his school mate, named Sam. Sam was injured badly and there was no one near to help him except Mike. Mike helped him stand up and provided him water. Since Sam was riding the cycle fast, his left leg and hands were severely injured. He asked him to sit in a corner and took the cycle and rushed to a nearby hospital to get help.     An ambulance came and carried Sam to the hospital. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________      Mike accepted the gift from Sam. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】     An ambulance came and carried Sam to the hospital. Mike stayed until Sam’s parents arrived, his heart still pounding from the incident. Sam and his parents thanked Mike for the timely help, with their voice full of gratitude. Because of this accident, Mike and Sam became close friends. Mike met Sam every day in hospital until he was discharged. Days later, Sam got a new cycle and he came to know that Mike didn’t own a cycle. Therefore, he gave his old cycle to Mike with his parents’ permission.     Mike accepted the gift from Sam. It was the same cycle that Sam had been riding when the accident happened. Although it showed signs of wear, it was still a perfectly good bicycle — and now, it belonged to him. B This weekend I had the pleasure of seeing the Latvian animated film Flow in the theater. C.Positive. D.Tolerant. D In forests, certain fungi (真菌) attach themselves to trees and fallen logs to break down the carbon within their wood and release it as carbon dioxide. A.Fungi: From Wood Decay to Plastic Solution B.Fungi: A New Hope for Forest Conservation C.Fungi: A Complete Guide to Their Life Cycle D.Fungi: The Only Hope for Plastic Pollution Being a camp counselor (辅导员) is an exciting and important job! You help campers have a lot of fun, learn new things, and feel safe. To be great at it, you need the right skills and a positive attitude. These five tips will show you how to lead, listen, and create amazing memories for everyone at camp! Be enthusiastic in every activity. 36 Show enthusiasm to motivate the group, whether it’s an exciting outdoor activity or a quieter indoor craft session. Even during activities that can seem less exciting, like rainy-day games, your enthusiasm can transform the experience. Listen actively to your campers. Being a good listener is one of the most important features of a great camp counselor. 37 When they share their thoughts or feelings, give them your full attention, and respond thoughtfully. This builds trust and shows you care about them. Be open to trying new things. Campers often look up to their counselors as role models. 38 Be willing to try new activities, even if they’re outside your usual interests. Whether it’s attempting a climbing wall or joining a dance-off, your willingness inspires your campers to do the same. 39 Campers often come up with creative ideas or suggestions for activities. Instead of dismissing these ideas, take them seriously. Even when an idea doesn’t work out perfectly, the camper will feel valued knowing their input matters. Use positive language. The way you communicate with campers matters. Instead of focusing on what they mustn’t do, guide them with positive instructions. For example, instead of saying, “Don’t run,” say, “Please walk.” 40 A.Encourage camper ideas. B.Always be patient when resolving conflicts. C.Campers want to feel heard and understood. D.By doing so, your instructions are easier to remember. E.This slight change makes them more likely to cooperate. F.Your energy and excitement set the tone for your campers. G.To encourage them to step out of their comfort zones, you need to do the same. Back in 2001, Diane Charles was taking a morning walk along a beach when something unusual caught her eye. A 41 covered in seagrass was rolling in the waves. Curious, she picked it up and found a note inside, written in Spanish. With help from locals, she tried to 42 the message. Eventually, a scholar helped decode it, which roughly read, “Life has taught me all is 43 , and that receiving love and success is second to this.” The most important clues were a name, a Colombian address, and a fax number. These details 44 Charles to Erika Boyero, a woman from Colombia who had thrown the bottle into the sea four years earlier on a cruise ship near Norway. In 1997, looking for something fun to do, Boyero wrote several notes, 45 them in empty bottles, and threw them overboard. Then she forgot all about them. Years later, her father surprised her with 46 news. “Hey, you received a fax from Australia,” he told her. Boyero was stunned, but eventually it 47 — the bottles. “There are so many millions of people in the world,” she said. “… and when 48 shows a person you have to meet in this life… it is beautiful.” What started as a mysterious ocean message soon turned into a long-distance 49 . For the next 25 years, Charles and Boyero stayed in touch, 50 life updates and milestones. Recently, Boyero called Charles with an idea: she wanted to fly to Tasmania so they could finally meet in person. When Boyero arrived, Charles said their reunion felt 51 . Once she walked into the terminal, the two 52 like “long lost friends”. The following morning, they walked together along the same beach where the bottle had been 53 ashore all those years ago. Looking back, Boyero says the early translation of her message wasn’t far from what she 54 wrote. “Life has taught me all is possible,” she said. “I wish you good fortune wherever you are.” And thanks to a bottle 55 across the ocean, those words ended up connecting two people half a world apart. 41.A.note B.bottle C.ship D.message 42.A.figure out B.search for C.pass down D.reply to 43.A.simple B.valuable C.important D.possible 44.A.entrusted B.accompanied C.led D.limited 45.A.sealed B.gathered C.cast D.hid 46.A.terrific B.unexpected C.unpleasant D.terrible 47.A.echoed B.worked C.clicked D.happened 48.A.destiny B.nature C.chance D.luck 49.A.journey B.friendship C.business D.encounter 50.A.celebrating B.recalling C.comparing D.sharing 51.A.strange B.formal C.natural D.awkward 52.A.embraced B.winked C.nodded D.wept 53.A.thrown B.washed C.pulled D.stuck 54.A.simply B.rarely C.originally D.actually 55.A.sinking B.breaking C.flying D.drifting On June 9, 2026, Apple officially released iOS 27 at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). However, 56 (far) from receiving praise, the new operating system was quickly met with widespread criticism from Chinese users. For now, iOS 27 seems unlikely to win back user trust, and many are left 65 (wonder) whether Apple still prioritizes the Chinese market. Labor Shapes Us ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 第二节(满分25分) 67. Mike was an 11 years old boy. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试卷第1页,共3页 试卷第1页,共3页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
