But IT was still fun. 丽江古城位于丽江市古城区，有大研古城、白沙民居建筑群、数何民居建筑群构成，面积共7.28平方千米。大研古城东依金虹，山北临玉龙雪山，西为狮子山，是丽江古城的主体部分。据丽江市志载，古城始建于宋末元初，盛于明清，距今近800年历史。殷古城形似一块碧玉大砚而得名大研。目前，大研古城是我国保存最为完整、最具纳西族风格的古代城镇。古城建筑融汉白藏各民族精华，古城布局遇水环绕，井泉交错，城北象山脚下的玉泉水南流而下，汇入城中，穿街绕巷，家家门前流水，户户跨水筑楼，形成以水为核心的古城布局。城中共有354座石桥和木板桥，是大研古城的桥梁，密度居中国之冠。碧江北端，一条玉龙从碧空蜿蜒而来，身披银鳞，腾跃着，飞舞着。这就是纳西族的保护神、三多的化身、纳西人的神山玉龙雪山。玉龙雪山位于丽江坝子北端，距丽江古城15公里，东接丽江鸣音公路，西临虎跳峡谷，南起白沙玉湖北至大具下虎跳口，大小山峰八九十座，其中较大的13座，俗称玉龙十三峰。主峰扇子陡海拔5596米，如羽扇轻展。从丽江古城远眺，其形犹如银色金字塔。纳西族对这个神山，还有这个生源地，最终都是非常忌讳的。包括是有心的地方是啊也就是非常神圣的，不能去练舞的。
