We were tasked to draw or paint something that impressed us most.Inspired by the fantastic scenery,I decided to create a watercolor painting of the small bridge over the park's pond, surrounded by blooming flowers. The entire experience was incredibly refreshing.Being surrounded by nature not only sparked my creativity but also offered a much-needed break from the usual hustle and bustle of school life.I felt a deep sense of peace as I painted. In a word,it was not just an art class; it was a moment of connection with nature that I truly cherished. How have your classes been lately? I would love to hear about them. Take care and write back soon! Yours, Li Hua 六、读后续写 67. At that moment, sitting in math class, Emily could see her future. She finally realized that daydreaming about horses was not enough. If she wanted to spend her life working with horses and even painting them like Doctor Landon, she had to master basic school knowledge. From then on, she forced herself to focus on classes instead of getting lost in fantasies. Whenever math lessons felt boring, she reminded herself of her dream, which gave her strong motivation to keep learning. On arriving home, she changed her plans for the afternoon. Instead of rushing to brush and ride Star immediately, she took out her math homework first. She carefully finished all her school tasks patiently. After completing her study, she went to see Star happily. She made up her mind to balance study and hobbies well. She knew solid knowledge would help her realize her dream of being a horse painter in the future. 1.What program does the woman prefer? B (2025-2026·湖南岳阳高二下期末)Kenyn Boro, a 16-year-old girl, has earned the nickname “the Master” for her command of wushu, or Chinese martial arts. She not only teaches wushu to her peers at school but also coaches her family at home, turning the living room into an improvised training space. Boro began learning wushu at seven and was the only one to persist in her original beginner group. After nine years of practice, she has won three medals in the Kenya Wushu National Championships since 2021. Boro’s experiences mirror wushu’s rapid growth in Kenya. In Kiambu County alone, over 4,000 students in 24 public primary schools practice it through clubs set up by the Kenya Kungfu Wushu Federation. “Kung fu changes children in ways they can’t always describe,” said Ngaruiya Njonge, president of the federation, “If they abandon it, they risk drifting into bad habits! That is why we keep encouraging them to train.” Njonge, who learned martial arts independently via YouTube after his Chinese-trained coach left, dedicates himself to spreading it nationwide. Promoting wushu has not been without challenges. Funding shortages and limited training venues often make the work difficult, and there are moments when Njonge considers stopping. Yet he persists, inspired by the transformations he witnesses in his pupils. “Sometimes I think about giving up,” he said, “but my students wake me up. I can see what I’ve taught them in their performances at the tournament. It’s alive.” Njonge’s efforts to promote wushu have also opened doors to deeper cultural exchanges with China. In September 2025, supported by the Chinese embassy, Njonge accompanied two of his students on a cultural and martial arts exchange trip to China, where they learned tai chi and visited the Shaolin Temple, gaining firsthand experience of the art’s origins and traditions. Inspired by the trip, one of his students, Elvis Munyasya, plans to improve his Chinese skills, which he sees as key to improving his wushu and connecting more closely with Chinese instructors. 24.(2025-2026·湖南岳阳高二下期末)What earned Kenyn Boro the nickname “the Master”? C (2024-2025·湖南衡阳高二下期末)Song Yingxing was a Chinese scientist and encyclopedist (百科全书编纂者) who lived during the late Ming Dynasty. The British biochemist and historian Joseph Needham called him “The Diderot of China”. Song Yingxing was born in Fengxin county in Jiangxi province in 1587. He took part in the second highest imperial (科学) examinations in Beijing six times, but failed to become a jinshi. After that, he decided to give up taking exams and turned to the practical knowledge of natural science. Then Song Yingxing spent four years teaching his students in his hometown. Although it was a job like teaching, it was a very important stage in Song Yingxing’s life, because many of his works were written here. And Song Yingxing had been living in a secluded (隐居的) life in the past ten years. Because he didn’t want to be an official, Song Yingxing lived a very poor life in his later years. He was the author of Tian Gong Kai Wu, an encyclopedia that covered a wide variety of technical subjects. As Joseph Needham has observed, the vast amount of accurately drawn illustrations in this encyclopedia dwarfed the amount provided in previous Chinese encyclopedias, making it a valuable written work in the history of Chinese literature. Tian Gong Kai Wu records all aspects of technology up to the mid-Ming period. The book constitutes a complete system of science and technology, and provides a systematic summary of ancient Chinese technology, the experience accumulated by China in agriculture, and China’s achievements in technology. Many of the production techniques described in the book are still in use today. At the same time, Tian Gong Kai Wu broke from Chinese tradition by rarely referencing previous written work. It was instead written in a style strongly suggestive of personal experience. The book was translated into Japanese, French, English, German, Italian, and Russian, and was widely circulated in Europe and Japan. In addition, Song Yingxing had made great achievements in many fields. His research was very extensive. In physics, he studied the occurrence of sound and, finally concluded that sound is transmitted in the air. 28.(2024-2025·湖南衡阳高二下期末)What can we learn about Song Yingxing from the text? A.He adjusted the direction of life. B.He dreamed to be a great scientist. C.He received a science education. D.He passed imperial examinations. 29.(2024-2025·湖南衡阳高二下期末)Which of the following best describes Song’s teaching life? A.Busy but satisfactory. B.Significant and rewarding. C.Comfortable but worthless. D.Challenging and intolerant. 30.(2024-2025·湖南衡阳高二下期末)What’s the possible meaning of the underlined word “dwarfed”? A.Make something seem smaller. B.Apply something to practice. C.Provide evidence of something. D.Take advantage of something. 31.(2024-2025·湖南衡阳高二下期末)What is one of the features of Tian Gong Kai Wu? A.It provided abundant first-hand experience. B.It was written in multiple foreign languages. C.It focused merely on agricultural technology. D.It largely referenced previous encyclopedias. D (2025·广东惠州一模)Using artificial intelligence to create artworks increases artists’ productivity and generates more positive reactions, according to a study involving submissions to a popular art-sharing website by more than 50,000 users. But generative AI works are more likely to display stereotypical (刻板印象的) themes, reducing the novelty of an artist’s work. The researchers tracked 4 million works published on the website by the artists. The artists self-divided into two groups: those who continued to work using traditional methods — a sort of control group, and those who adopted AI. The latter group, numbering about 5,800, were identified by the use of tags (标签) on their work, such as “AI-generated” or the names of the AI tools. Works posted into AI art communities on the site were also included. Artists who adopted AI tools saw their productivity measured by the number of works posted increase by 25 percent over the study period. They also saw a 50 percent rise in the number of “favourites” their work received over six months. But novelty, measured by the subject matter and specific details of the work, decreased for the AI-using group. “The study completely tracks with my own experience with these tools and spaces,” says Andres Guadamuz at the University of Sussex, UK. “At first, it felt that you could do anything, bring anything in your head into existence, but the more I used them, the more I kept coming back to themes I liked.” Guadamuz points out that he isn’t judging the quality of the images produced by generative AI nor their originality, nor the creativity involved in the process. All these things are often hotly contested, with some artists saying that generative AI is using their works as training data and limiting their ability to be recognized as creatives. Zhou at Boston University is also considering these questions. He says, “The generative technology accelerates the ability to produce. But it raises other issues: Are we foregoing the process of understanding what goes into being creative and producing something meaningful, in favour of just being able to brute force our way with technology?” 32.(2025·广东惠州一模)What do we know about the artworks created by AI according to paragraph 1? A.They are abundant but less creative. B.They are generative but less popular. C.They balance popularity with artistic depth. D.They attract viewers with the trendy subjects. 33.(2025·广东惠州一模)How was the study conducted? A. By surveying artists’ opinions on AI tools using. B. By analyzing suggestions on generative AI works. C. By comparing artworks with different AI involvement. D. By observing the process of AI-assisted artistic creation. 34.(2025·广东惠州一模)What can be inferred from Guadamuz’s statement? A. AI tools help artists explore new creative styles. B. AI users receive more recognition for their creativity. C. Artists believe AI improves the quality of their artworks. D. Artists may repeat themes they like when using AI tools. 35.(2025·广东惠州一模)What is the best title for the text? A.The Unstoppable Rise of AI Artworks. B.The Breakthrough of AI in Artistic Creation. C.The Role of AI in Artistic Productivity. Somewhere, someone was saying her name, but it seemed so far away. “Emily. Emily!” Emily jumped. She turned back toward the class to find everyone laughing. “Emily, you’re such a smart girl but you just don’t apply yourself. You’re always daydreaming.” Mrs. Smith turned to others, “Class, now clear your desks. Our guest is here. Welcome Doctor Landon. He is a painter and he came here today as part of our continued Career Explorations program.” “I love horses,” Doctor Landon said. Horse. Was Doctor Landon talking about horses? Born in 1949, Pan Qihui was once a PE teacher. He was interested in writing with brushes and painting as a child. Although his hobbies had nothing to do with his job, he never gave them up. He also had an interest in collecting stamps and ancient coins. However, since he saw the micro-carving artworks at an exhibition in the 1980s, he decided to study micro-carving. In 1986, Pan wrote to his penfriends who also enjoyed collecting stamps and ancient coins to tell them he had decided to spend 10 years studying micro-carving. Then he practised every night after work. Through hard work, he only spent five years achieving his goal. Although Pan has already achieved many honors, he still practises much and trains hard. He has set a goal for himself that he’ll create one amazing work every year. To make sure his hands keep stable, Pan has given up smoking and been living a healthy life. Yours, Li Hua 第二节 读后续写(25分) 67.(2025-2026·甘肃酒泉高二下期末)阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。 Emily stared through the window and watched a white cloud pass over the woods across from the school. A bird floated through the air, wings stretched. It must be wonderful to be a bird, she thought. Total freedom. No math class to sit in. Soon, she would be out of school for the summer and her days would be spent on horseback. She thought of her horse, Star. She’d have to brush him before riding him this afternoon. She paid attention as he spoke. “School education matters a lot. The knowledge I got from math and science classes enables me to paint horses as they are in their natural setting. I visit different stables (养马场). It’s a lot of work, but I love it.” When she heard the words, Emily’s mouth fell open. He spent his days with horses. Lots of horses! What a life that must be, she thought. 注意: 1. 续写词数应为150左右; 2. 请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。 At that moment, sitting in math class, Emily could see her future. _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ On arriving home, she changed her plans for the afternoon. _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】At that moment, sitting in math class, Emily could see her future. 原创精品资源学科网独家享有版权,侵权必究!1 2 / 2 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
