Step 2 Work on 4a-4b 1.Ask students to think about whether they changed a lot after entering junior high school.Let them consider different aspects like physical,mental,study,sport,etc. 2.Divide students into pairs.In 4b,let them ask each other the questions in the table and fill in their answers.Encourage them to share their experiences and feelings. Step 3 Work on 4c-4d 1.Ask students to create their growth charts in 4c.They can give examples and add photos or videos if possible.Walk around to offer help and inspiration. 2.In 4d,ask students to share their growth charts in class.After each sharing,ask other students to ask questions or give comments.Then find out who changed the most in the class. Step 4 Work on Reflecting 1.Ask students to answer the questions in Reflecting.Know about what words and expressions they can use to make comparisons and how to benefit from each other’s similarities and differences,etc. 2.Let students share their answers with the class.Summarize the common points and give some suggestions for improvement according to their answers.Encourage students to review and consolidate the knowledge they learnt in this unit. ◇教学反思◇ 　　通过本课时的活动,学生积极参与调查和分享,对自己的成长有了更清晰的认识,但在制作成长图表时,部分学生对信息的整理和呈现不够清晰。在反思环节,部分学生对知识的总结不够全面,对如何将所学运用到实际生活中思考不足。后续教学应加强对学生信息整理和归纳能力的培养,引导学生更深入地思考知识与生活的联系,提高学生的综合素养。 1.Ask students to read Rose’s post in 3a.Then ask them to compare Rose’s opinion with the posts in Section B 1b.Let them discuss in groups and share their findings. 2.Check the answers together and explain some important language points.
