Step 2 Pre⁃reading 1.Show the pictures related to oceans,wetlands,and forests on the screen.Let students look at the pictures and predict what the article might be about. 2.Present the pre⁃reading questions.Ask students to read the questions carefully and think about the answers.Then let them share their ideas. Step 3 While⁃reading 1.Extensive reading Ask students to read the article quickly to get the general idea.Then ask them to answer some simple questions. 2.Intensive reading Let students read the article again carefully and choose the correct descriptions for each ecosystem in Part A. 3.Work on B Ask students to read the article again and choose the correct answers to the questions in Part B.Then check the answers.
